One has to wonder what would happen NOW if Apple suddenly allowed clones.
I guess it doesn't fit into their ultimate scheme of things. They don't really seem to care about overwhelmingly taking a huge chunk of the market (only enough to be "profitable")...err, only enough at their pace.
The modern ECU's control more than just the air/fuel (by reading 02 sensors, etc.). They alter things like timing and monitor a host of things.
Many in the Honda crowd use an Apex'i S-AFC (or similar) to attach in line with the computer to adjust various things. Additionally you can buy other controllers and the like to adjust realtime at will.
This thing is impressive, but is no replacement, it's a piggyback, and has a long ways to go.
Quite the contrary,
the Google sites typically offer reviews from the big-name sites like Anandtech, etc. Your page only lists links...many of which are to sites that are sub-par quality reviews. Adding a little description or more info would save time.
"We just finished at 8Dimensional our list of GeForce FX reviews."...and? now what?
While the idea of a site that shows all the reviews in one place is noble...unless you have huge amounts on content it's easier to search google for the reviews. The good ones usually end up being on top as well.
As the poster states...looks like mostly marketing spin in terms of performance.
"So, while the GeForce FX 5200 is technically capable of all sorts of DirectX 9-class eye candy, I have to question just how well the card will handle future DirectX 9 games and applications. After all, a slideshow filled with DirectX 9 eye candy is still a slide show."
Throw some fancy "big boy" names on a box without the performance to back it up.
It's just not possible.
Energy will always be taken away in the process that can't be "recycled."
It's neat to watch people try to make super efficient machines though...I wonder if any low friction fluids, etc. have come out through the development of these inventions?
Take for instance the "recreational" 46/49mhz band.
The first wireless phones that came out used these...so did walkie talkies...so did baby monitors...so did intercom systems...etc, etc.
Opening up a band like this will eventually cause problems. This being said, we've come a long ways with refining the technology....in the mean time I love my WiFi setup:)
It's not so much the occasional exposure (both of things inside going out and outside going in)...it's the prolonged exposure as well.
If you're an overclocker especially, I would never mix a window with trying to get maximum performance. Interference CAN cause adverse effects in that realm.
Try this...put a harddrive next to a radio and listen for little disturbances when the heads seek.
You know how easy it is create a "for profit" charity? I've had the same guy call me once a night (for weeks) during dinner explaining that I give money to some kind of police/fire/IbrokeAnailAnonymous charity. He collects 99% of the money, and donates the rest (gee thanks!). The charity loophole is HUGE.
As nice as it is for a charity to call me begging for money, I'd much rather give the money on my own. Ofcourse...people don't go out of their own way nowadays to do just that.
From the site...
"He attempted to profit by marketing circumvention devices to that community *knowing they would be used to play pirated games*," said Assistant Attorney General Michael Chertoff.
*stars added
All things aside, if you MARKET your mod chips for illegal (warez) use then you deserve to be arrested.
I know what many will say about what exactly is "warez" and "illegal." All I'm saying is, you know who you are...and most people buying these are using them for copied CD's. As many people who visit this site are programmers themselves, I have to wonder why more aren't for protecting their work and getting paid on it?
from the design, this case can only sit to the right of the user. If you put it to the left, you get fans facing you, along with having to wrap the cables around the back.

This reminds me of the news story about Iraq buying 3000 PS2's (for missiles?). Regardless, the chips inside these are indeed quick!
I just hope someone gets on the RC5 train with these...
The problem with comments like these is why should Nvidia HAVE to buy into the FutureMark program, which is a "monopoly" in the benchmark market.
...
I believe Nvidia's stance is "we don't really care for 3dmark all that much"
Okay now, come on!!!
USB watch, toothbrush, shaver, coffee pot, George Foreman grill...
yet there's one thing every nerd still needs by their computer, a USB Girlfriend!!!
All I know is I want to run RC5 on one. :)

In which case you can resort to fun violence.
A sledge and/or a garbage can are my weapons against legacy PC's.
Don't give any VC's ideas...
our next dotcom era will be companies trying to make these machines...

I think you'll find WiFi slowly fazed out for different technologies, namely ones that are...proprietary.
Interference and crowding may prove to become too much of an issue as everyone hops on the bandwagon.
This being said, WiFi is a great technology to pave the way in wireless.

There is no way I'd buy one of these cases...or one with a window.
:)
There's a reason for all the EMI shielding in a case! And the reason? Search google
I have to wonder what the FCC says about these cases...although for Home use I don't believe there is much in terms of requirements.

I'd love to retrieve it... and throw it on ebay :D
Case in point... Your post was "insightful" and not "funny" hah!
They don't understand. The more they tax, the more they'll spend. It doesn't take a california blond to figure out the problem.

You need to put a *not work safe* link on anything Natalie Portman related. Especially *live video* !!!
