Well some people are willing to die or go to jail for a cause, some like you are willing to take it in the ass like a good citizen. Back in the early 80s in Poland my parents were in the Solidarity movements. Both of them, my other family members and tons of their friends where sent to jail (beaten to hell) for organizing anti gov rallies and making life hell for the communist gov. None of them that I know regret what they did and even though they were a small piece of the movement together they got things moving.
>Targeted precise strike on Iran's nuclear capabilities, this is a bigger win for freedom and security in the free world and anything wikileaks or their supporters could dream of doing.
More like cripple them so the US with the approval of other Arab countries like Saudi would go in and start another war for extra few years of oil supply.
Seems to me like Assange was the only one who is willing to "take it" for his cause, the others want to dish out dirt (which I welcome) but don't want to deal with the consequences that come with it?

Nothing but whats wrong with say Mint Debian with a nice graphical install and improvements for non power users who just want a nice system ready to go.
11 years ago I could sit there for hours at a time trying to figure out how to set up partitions/apache/mysql on Slackware/Debian for a home server, these days I don't have that luxury and I want somethings to be done for me.
>but those are operated by young, freedom loving people like you and I
Sorry but I have to disagree with you on this one. When I lived in Poland (left in 1984) the Milicja and ZOMO where are young freedom loving soldiers yet they still followed the communist governments orders to oppress the people and at times kill them.
Yes because it wasn't the "driver" that was at fault it was the cell phone. What if he has picking his nose and that stubborn goblin needed just an extra nudge from the finger to come out BUT this meant the drivers head turned a bit and he steered into the fence.
could be the end of his Windows usage life cycle. I wasn't too thrilled about the brushed metal look aka Apple but after install ( 15min for me and) opening up Mint Menu it does look nice and polished looking.
> Makes me wonder if there was an issue where an ISP refused to hand over data recently, or if they simple said "We can't sniff their traffic".
I use to work for a small Canadian ISP about 7 years ago and the owner would never give out info to any one or any CDN gov agency unless they came in with a warrant. He was pretty firm about that. Man we had good times writing letters and answering phone calls from US law firms requesting that we must do so and so lol
I call them community forums. Yes I have to read/join one for every subject I want to know about but the vast amount of info that is there is amazing and there is not need for magazines anymore.
MS, Sony or Apple products in my house and look at me weird when I tell them I run Linux Mint on my computers and not windows. You don't want me to do as I wish with the hardware I bought and now own, very well then you'd better be leasing it to me for 1/3 the price and you can have it after I'm finished with it.
Like the one in my sig?
If you refuse a breathalyser test the RCMP office is the judge, jury and executioner. You can't even take it to court as you dispute it I think you have to now go through the Superintendent Of Motor Vehicles. http://www.invermere.com/2010/09/06/bc-gets-tough-on-drinking-and-driving/
Oh and the RCMP would never abuse these new laws, no never.....

I though Apples trademark has been the color white and ipod/phone for ages and not the Apple.
