Playonline, is at least now (and i strongly suspect always was) run and hosted by SquareEnix
if you go to the site, you'll see only SE products, their name is all over it. It's not sony. http://www.playonline.com/
Well, the only needler i can think of off hand (Molly's in Neuromancer) the needles could be either poison coated or explosive...which could add some punch to it. ^^
I'm totally drawing a blank on what scene that is that was taken from Perfect Blue to use in Requiem for a Dream. I've seen both but it's been a while.
Refresh my memory please ^^
yep, you are in the same realm. there is a fairly decent auto-translator built into the game, which is pretty good for in game i.e. gameplay related usage, but not so hot for general social interaction. i've been in a few mixe parties and had a great deal of success and fun in them.
i'd also recommend it. i bought it on a whim after hearing a review on NPR and couldn't put it down once i started. the only gripe i have (and don't let it stop you from reading it) is that it ends on a signifigant cliffhanger.

Er, it's "Eat *crap*, you foul Prince" apparently using to surround words in an attempt as sarcastic censorship causes html to act up. /sigh
It was "Silflay hraka u embleer Rah" which could more or less be translated to "Eat , you foul Prince". ^^
