I went here this summer, it's in Hutchison, KS, and has a wide range of actual flight hardware from various space missions - including the Apollo 13 CM. There's also an actual SR-71 Blackbird and genuine V-1 and V-2 rockets from WWII.
Worth a trip if you're passing through!
I'd love to come... but it's at the FUCKING MOLINEUX... and I'm a Baggies fan! I can't POSSIBLY set foot inside the Molineux unless as part of a mass invasion!
for those of you who have not a clue what I'm on about... it's football (soccer)... Wolverhampton Wanderers (The Wolves) play at the Molineux Stadium, but I'm a fan of their local arch-rivals, West Bromwich Albion (The Baggies)... it's quite a severe but relatively good-natured rivalry.. still...
It's the 8 static IPs and the rest of the value added services that make it worthwhile. Their tech support is fantastic, and I have had 3 days downtime in 2 years (tree fell on the phone line). I can't deny that 2mbps would be nice though;)
by "you'll need a microfilter plugged in to each phone line or extension that you want to use with broadband."
they really mean "With the broadband service you must have a microfilter for EACH device which you want to connect to the line on which broadband is enabled."
Outdated ex-state-owned monopoly owning all the local loops and doing everything they can to trip up LLU (local loop unbundling), which allows other companies to offer DSL, and a lack of decent cable providers - Telewest are OK but NTL SUCK!
And there's only cable in BIG cities. Unless you live within 50 miles of Central London.
Maybe if you actually COMPARED that with other operating systems, you'd see that it's a good record. And don't forget that it includes both the kernel and the userland.
oops.
Because OpenBSD is focused on security. This means they don't compromise by spreading development effort that could be best spent on making the OS more secure.
Proofread this horrendous summary? Have a little chat with yourself.
Still was "tested" by Ubuntu. If it's crap, stick with the previous version...
I hope the fricking fglrx packages are a bit less retarded than in Oneiric!!!

At the other end you get something horrible like "BT Yahoo! Broadband". bleccch.
Are you sure you installed microfilters on EVERY device connected to the phone line?
Cymru am Byth!
El Reg has enough, um, 'commentary' on BT to keep everyone amused.
HOWEVER, you Yanks better not forget that your "cellphone", or as we backward Brits like to call it, "mobile" service is years behind ours.
I hear you could only recently send cross-network texts (SMS)? too bad, too bad!
And there's only cable in BIG cities. Unless you live within 50 miles of Central London.
Other than that it's all good, all good
wait...
this must be REAL! cos SURELY CmdrTaco wouldn't make a mistake like that above!!!!! *reaches for alcohol wipes*
uh. surface tension and viscosity are NOT the same thing.
Clearly it's hosted on the grill. Good thing that's built to take some serious heat - /.'ed with 0 comments - smokin'!
yes. :P
It'll be a shame if the new service doesn't let me download ISOs at 3MiB/s on my desktop at university ;)

Or, another way, Theo doesn't let retards mess with his source tree ;)

Or just move to the UK or Europe ;)
