We actually had a rule at Atari, which seems kind of quaint now, that you could blow up a tank, a plane, a car - but you couldn't do violence against a human.
That's seems like some really relaxed rules you had. Where I work in the UK, the health and safety guy has banned us from blowing up anything.
"I want to produce something that deaf people can use in everyday life," he said.
Don't get me wrong, mod me down if you want, I'm sure he's tried his best, but isn't this the wrong invention. My experience working with people with impaired hearing is that their speech is fine. It's hearing that they have a problem with.
A glove that translated other peoples speech into sign language would be much more useful.
Why does it need a bloated desktop environment like either of these two? I'm not touching it until it runs on either sawfish or a text console using aalib.
It's a shame I can't fit into a 2.4 ghz channel. If only these toys could be made big enough to put people inside. The experience of actually being up in the sky, as well as having the view, would be amazing.
Now, weapons are categorized by handedness, and they do different damage based on size. Thus, it's no longer the case that a longsword is effectively a greatsword for a Small character and a short sword for a Large character. Now, there is a small longsword, a medium longsword (and by implication) a large longsword.
Well that's gone and spoilt it for me. I'm going to have to try out Arcana Unearthed.
Stop complaining and join the fun. There's loads of patents to be found at reasonable prices
Buy a few and start sending out those threating letter yourself. Easy money. The SCO way, is the only way.
"They're basically saying 'you owe use money'. But if someone asks 'why do I owe you money', they reply, "we can't tell you why, but you have to pay us anyway'," he said.
