    Keyboard is not the only problem.

    As you get older, your eyesight gets poorer. The regular font on iPad or (PC) is not that legible for my parents. I have created a set up where their laptop is easily connected to the 47" living room LED TV. Small tablet is not really convenient for old people.

    Not sure why you believe this is so. Obviously, you don't have much experience in aerospace/aeronautics engineering.

    There is a reason why Navy fighter squad does not have ANY single engine fighters like F-16. It is a requirement that all fighters for Navy have a dual engine. 777 had to go through special testing process to prove that it was just as sea-worthy as 4 engine aircrafts like 747.

    You have no clue what you are talking about.

    After Australia passed strict gun controls after their mass shooting in 1996, they haven't had a single mass shooting since then.

    Hell, I just bought a new VAIO laptop and upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 8 Pro and I couldn't get it to boot in UEFI mode!!! Thank goodness for the Legacy mode or I would have been SOL.

    I have a very hard time feeling sorry for Ravi.

    Not only is he guilty of what he was accused of doing, he rejected the plea offer that would have spared him jail time and deportation (the same deal that the girl in the case took). He had his chance to admit what he did was wrong and atone, but he flat out rejected that and decided to take his chances.

    Now, he can think about the consequences of his actions while sitting in jail and in India once he is deported.

    You obviously have little clue about theory of natural selection and everything that goes with it. Perhaps you would have a better argument if you actually understood how evolution works.

    The Theory of Natural Selection basically states that if a mutation helps you in survival, you are more likely to mate and the helpful mutation will propagate, which will eventually lead to great changes to the specie over time.

    There is nothing in this theory that says ALL mutations are helpful. I don't know where you got that idea from, but perhaps not drinking from the ID kool-aid will help you in that endeavor.

    There is no such a thing as bait and switch in science. Either your theory is supported by evidence or it isn't. ID has no evidence nor a way to test it. It is not science. Evolution is a fact, Theory of Natural Selection is a well proven theory.

    The prosecutor fully knows he is barking up the wrong Constitutional tree, but what is really unconcerting is the fact that they are doing this just so that they can find out who "Mr.Fiddlestick" is. Since Google won't reveal who "Mr.Fiddlestick" is without a criminal investigation, they are using this to run around that requirement. I doubt that they will even charge him with the statue. Pretty sickening abuse of power.

    Show me one scientific paper that states world is flat. Just one. As early as in Greek times, scientists like Eratosthenes tried to measure the circumference of the earth (and quite accurately might I add). What "scientists" are you talking about?

    I agree, but Alex still reads it aloud. At the very least I am getting the same information in two different ways at two different speeds. That must have some negative impact on the brain. Shouldn't that be factored in as well? If you wanted to be indentical, there should not be Trebek to read the question.

    In the article, they mention that the computer gets the question as text. Does anyone know exactly when the computer receives the question? Does it receive when the human host starts talking or when the human host completes the question? If it is when the host starts speaking, the computer is getting at least several second head-start on the humans.

    Funny, how everything comes around. Today, bone marrow is probably one of the top "foodie" gourmet item. All of the celebrity chefs like Bourdain, Riepert, and others sing high praises of bone marrow and routinely feature bone marrow dishes on their shows.

    I am sure there are thousands of foodies who would have loved to been in your shoes at the dinner.

    It is amazing to see how much improvement you see in life expectancy around the world in mid 1900's. I believe that is due to wider availability of vaccines. Just goes to show how big of a difference vaccines have made around the world.

    I love your idea - we should just follow the previous examples! We already have a nationwide network of hospitals for military - VA! All we have to do is to widen and let any citizen access them. Just like we did with highways and the Internet. A great suggestion!

    NYC is a big place with many boroughs where density is lower and people don't walk as much. If you look at the obesity in Manhattan, it is much less.

    In fact, there is a study on relationship between BMI and urban environment factors (like public transportation and density). They concluded that urban environment does reduce obesity. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17465178
