  1. How much storage does ITunes Store give you? on Apple's iCloud Runs On Microsoft Azure · · Score: 1

ITunes store is an entirely different type of service. There is no customer storage to speak of.

It's pretty much an e-commerce store with a native client.

Sad, but for the first time since the mid-nineties when I started using Netscape, I'm considering switching. That includes the Netscape6, pre 1.0 Mozilla days.

None of my plugins work and I'm asked to install and upgrade major versions every few weeks it seems.

Microsoft has the nasty habit of tying their Browser releases to their OS sales. That's why you won't be able to install IE 10 to Vista, or IE 9 to XP. Also, they don't backport the render engine as a middle ground. How about an IE 8.5 that has much better HTML5 support but leaves out the Vista+ reliant features?

This leaves Google Chrome. They too have a rapid release schedule but if they can manage to not piss off their user base *and* and at the same time ignore the user constant complaints I think we may have a winner.

There seems to be a lot of that going on on slashdot lately.

It is well known that U.S. born black people going through college in the US get breaks not afforded to everyone else. We have even seen egregious examples of passes that should have been fails and even examples of plagiarism that has gone unaddressed and unpunished when done by black people. We know all too well how the system seeks "fairness and balance" by giving advantage to the "disadvantaged." But what happens after graduation?

I'm not saying HFT isn't dangerous, or something to keep an eye on. But if you're looking for a job in Manhattan financial sector, you'll more likely be working in web or other "high level" stacks.

Java is *huge*, .Net is also very popular. Web is, of course, very important with just about every stack, from Ruby to ASP.Net represented. I see a surprising about of MatLab for analysis ( I guess I just wasn't expecting to see any with QuantLib and similar floating around ).

China has QQ, which has been doing the same thing for years. In fact, you'd be surprised the type of stuff that fines it way on QQ. QQ puts 4Chan to shame on bad days.

I actually think this quote from the article has a valid point about western media in this case...

Bishop said such reports are "completely overblown by the Western media," noting that Sina is in intense domestic competition with Tenecent, another Chinese company whose most prominent product is the QQ instant messaging service.

How about reporting something newsworthy, like the fact that Microsoft released Windows Phone 7.5 Beta 2 ( Mango release ) to the entire development community yesterday.

I'm actually wrapping up a Sharepoint 2010 installation this month. It's on time and budget. The company now has their entire Workflow process, including custom C# workflow/document rules that were developed specifically for their needs.

Google Docs and Sharepoints are not even similar products. If you can go with either for your needs, then by all means go with Google Docs. Because that means you're really not using Sharepoint properly.
