We choose not to go to the moon. We choose not to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, because they are hard, because that goal will not serve to organize and line the pockets of our campaign contributors, because that challenge is one that we are unwilling to accept, one we are willing to postpone, and one which we intend to forget about, and the others, too.
The Nevada Gaming Commission. Yeah, this company may be worldwide, but once they're banned from Vegas and Reno, they'll clean up their act really quickly.
We have passed our research on to the business school which requires students to have laptops, and faculty to pre-publish slides (because that is how the business world works) but they aren't interested in knowing.
Because that is also how the business world works.
But once you've thought about what you want, it helps to be able to touch type instead of hunt&peck. It lets you follow the path that much more smoothly.
I'd say though, that it's not so much typing speed as much as the ability to touch type, no matter how fast, that matters.
I went to UCSC with Inman Jr. (Kurt Inman). We were in the CS program together from 83-84.
Unfortunately, the current philosophy is:
We choose not to go to the moon. We choose not to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, because they are hard, because that goal will not serve to organize and line the pockets of our campaign contributors, because that challenge is one that we are unwilling to accept, one we are willing to postpone, and one which we intend to forget about, and the others, too.
I still have my MOSTEK 6502 manual -- 8.5x11 softcover.
Yeah, I did miss that.
In the immortal words of Emily Latella... "Oh, that's very different. Never mind"
What gaming commission?

I want them to do it in Death Valley National Monument in August.
Don't forget "Deep Impact" where the plucky survivors outrun a tsunami... on foot.
PJ isn't an attorney, she's a paralegal.
Now add $50-60 for your checked baggage.
How does SW compare now?
This isn't a cop pulling you over for driving erratically. This is a checkpoint where they stop everyone.
I'm not sure this would be an issue in CA, though, the CVC specifically states that driving provides "implied consent" to a BAC test.
I suspect that almost all people who live in the USA outside of NYC would love to see NYC break off and float away.
Not a problem. YouTube doesn't "broadcast".

Where do you get that he downloads? I read it as he doesn't buy new, he doesn't download, he just buys used.
"Deep Oomaks"
You have six fingers on your right hand... I should kill you where you stand!!!
I thought MUSIC was the McGill University System for Interactive Computing.
Anyone else remember that system?
They wanted to serve it with ketchup.
I don't think Google will fit into the Comfy Chair.
Thanks, Dude.
Oh no... not again.
Off topic, but on a similar note, I used to have a Sony Discman that proudly boasted a "1-bit DAC".
WTF is a 1-bit DAC?
Actually, they were #2 and #3 ("attention" was #1)
I have faith in Congress -- that they'll choose the second option, and ream us in favor of the megacorps.
