    Amazingly enough, in 2001, I had set up my parents with a Mandrake system.

    Ah, Mandrake. My first real attempt to use a distro (I mucked around with RH5 for a few hours). 8.1. Good distro.
    I still have a soft spot for Mandriva -- in fact, my EeePC runs Mandriva One 2010.

    The problem with the movies was that they were all "message" movies. And often, the message was delivered with a sledgehammer.

    "Bender's Game" probably had the least message of them all... and was probably funniest (but that's because I misspent my college years with polyhedral dice...)

    I'm tired of this argument.

    Part of what makes us human is our curiosity; the need to explore, to go and see what's on the other side of that mountain. We need a goal that's inspirational. Yeah, robots do great science, but they're not going to inspire a hell of a lot of people.

    Thank you! I thought I was the only one who hated Papa John's because their sauce is too f-ing sweet.

    To be honest, I rather like both Domino's and Pizza Hut. But there's a local pizzeria (Uncle Ernie's, for those of you in the Chatsworth, CA area) with a *KILLER* Garlic and Red Onion pie.

    Mandriva 10.x was possibly the worst POS I've ever used. They didn't really get their act back together until the 2008.0 release.
