Here's a relevant quote on the dangers of elevated carbon dioxide levels:

Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is the body's regulator of the breathing function. It is normally present in the air at a concentration of 0.03% by volume. Any increase above this level will cause accelerated breathing and heart rate. A concentration of 10% can cause respiratory paralysis and death within a few minutes. In industry the maximum safe working level recommended for an 8 hour working day is 0.5% .

Also, look at Io. No plate tectonics there either, but the whole moon is covered by active volcanos because of the effects of Jupiter's gravity. Titan is further from Saturn than Io is from Jupiter, but it still experiences significant tidal forces.

(Of course, words like "made" and "earn" or "compensated" become utterly meaningless in this context. What the hell do you call this?) Mind you, that's only what he realized in one, single year. Plus, he just got a big fat tax cut.

Now that the Supreme Court (and other Federal judiciary positions) have been packed with "right wing morons" (to quote a National Lampoon skit, Mission Impeachable) by Reagan, Bush I, and Bush II, there's effectively only one branch to the Federal government.

Add to that the cheerleading of the So Called Liberal Media to make sure the people are properly propagandized and pretty soon we won't have a situation much different than the one in China. Except here we serve Freedom fries while the commie Chinese still serve French fries.
