"he should at least have the commonsense of clearing the cache!"

Clearing out the cache may not be enough. Internet Explorer keeps information about your browsing history, and outlook keeps mail even after you delete it

Even with other browsers, the only sure way to know the data is gone is to overwrite it

    C4 will work as well.

128MB of ram, AMD Duron 1.8Ghz

128 is the minimum requirment for xp. Is it really a valid comparison on minimum requirements? Bigger apps and more services mean you need more memory to run it.

512MB cost about 50 bucks. If santa doesn't buy you ram for christmas this year, try running win 95.

Enderle states that Apple will be obsolete by end of 2003. I love this prediction for the simple fact that I'm posting on a powerbook.

    Is there a question?

I worked in rural wisconsin for 2 years, and honestly never met anybody smarter than myself! I think the talent pool is limited enough in rural amaerica that there isn't much to worry about. India on the other hand is a worry. I think it's worry sum because they can treat their workers like crap. If you base your company out of india, you do not have to abide by the same worker/human rights as companies do in the us. Businesses based in india can think "who cares if the workers all get cancer, we made a crap load of money." and there is nothing legaly wrong about it. jd

  9. When are they going to realize on RIAA Grabs Student's Life's Savings · · Score: 1

that taking a college student to court is not getting them anywhere? The kids that were using this search engine can still get the music. This lawsuit just makes me less inclined to give them my hard earned money. With digital media being infinatly reproducible and easily distributable, a middle man (RIAA) is unneeded overhead. Sooner or later they will acknowledge that a change in their business model is the only option. One possibility would be to act as venture capitalists. The RIAA would finance bands, taking a percentage of concert revenue, merchandise sales, and endorsements. This way they are fitting into a business model rather than fighting to fill a role that is no longer needed.
