    In the last 5 years the distro's availabile have expanded. Want a reliable server? - use Suse, want the latest and greatest of everything? - use Gentoo. Want a nice stable reliable desktop - use Ubutu.

    1) Without Debian, no Ubutnu.

    2) Want a reliable server? -Debian Stable 3) Want the latest and greatest? -Debian Unstable

    Why does the summary talk about intensive database applications? Not only are databases not mentioned in the article, but having a database server that the Web servers need to talk to would be a huge bottleneck for this configuration.

    I would imagine that the IE version that runs on each OS (2K, XP, 2K3, etc) is probably unique enough to warrant a full battery of tests.
