    I have lived in the Soviet Union (drop the 'Soviet Russia', it's wrong) and I can tell you that it certainly wasn't atheistic nor were all believers actively persecuted (as far as I know it was only Stalin doing that). The societies are largely similar in their moral values.

    it's about the claim that religion causes war/violence, where as non-relgion (atheism) does not
    No, it's about how believers are manipulated to approve of and support certain types of violence/wars. Burn the witch! Slay the unbelievers!

    The size of a CRT has nothing to do with desing and all to do with technology. Quality/price rules over "better looks" (just because it's slim does not mean it's better looking) and saving 50 cm of deskspace I wouldn't use any way.

    Of course I can be both observed and observer, why couldn't I? It may not be the perfect method, but without telepathy self observation is the only way to observe the ego.

    the, "I think, therefore I am" is flawed; for something else could be inserting the thoughts into your head. however the head into which these ideas are put is yours.
    It does not prove anything about your existance, just that you exist. The nature of that existance is not important to the truth. Basicly it's "I'm self aware, therefore I am". It's as close to an objective observation as a human can get, so it's the logical starting point for reasoning about the world.

    So any result you aren't looking for is spam? You should make a mind reading search engine or at least add '-blog' to your searches. Real search engine spam isn't that easy to get rid of. Never mind that blogs sometimes contain exactly what you are looking for.

    The core of the GPL is still 'copyleft': copyright turned upside down. It is all about freedom surviving in a hostile enviroment. At least that is my impression from what I've read and hard about the GPL and Free Software.

    I think you have your two last steps reversed... Anyways that was the model before modern marketing, today you make something people might or might not want and make people want it.
