    I am not sure I agree with that. In principle, it sounds ok, but in practice it's a lot different. The signal to noise ratio is a lot higher on many usenet groups than it is on lists in general.
    Private servers (that aren't linked to Usenet) are musch better than mailing lists.

    Best thing IMHO is an NNTP server optionaly accessible trough a forum interface. Something like news.povray.org

    Middle-click is the only way I copy text, keyboard shourtcuts are NOT efficient NOR intuitive.

    Remove the Backspace and Delete keys while you're at it, than it'll be *exactly* like pen and paper. No need to introduce usefull features when you can use you 3 THz machine as a typewriter.

    How is this relevant to the question [why aren't there any more QT applications around?]?

    The existing ones are not that good/unique to inspire others to use the toolkit.

    Don't know about the Ximian one, But the current GTK file dialog feels excelent (hint, use TAB). It looks ugly and lack this or that feature, but I hope they'll keep the core intact when improving it.

    They are watching the matrix in encrypted form -- there is a helicopter on the roof, but the don't know the actual model before they see it.

    What bugs me most (appart from the humans as power source) is that the agents didn't take the bodies of any policeman sent to get Trinity at the begining. That, and floating "hovercafts"/robots.
