I watched CNN almost 10 minutes today. Even though I wanted to find out what had happened, I decided to wait until I can read the info on NASAs website. What helped me make that decision? The scrolling text at the bottom of their screen was listing other space disasters. It wasn't the listing of the disasters that offended me, it was the listing saying that the only disaster before Challenger was the Apollo13 lauchpad fire!
I'm sure most of you know that the launchpad fire was infact Apollo1
The ignorence astounds me! These are the people we are expected to get our news from???
Here are the 2 best ways I have gotten rid of telemarketers;
1st Caller) Gives Spiel how great their platinum card is.
Me) "I'm sorry, I died 2 weeks ago"
1st Caller) "I'm so sorry, I'll remove your name off of our list"
2nd Caller) Gives Spiel on free vacation which is really a scam to buy into a Florida time share condo.
Me) "That sounds great! I haven't had a vacation since I lost my job 6 months ago!"
2nd Caller) *click*
Seriously though, if you ever want to see the rules the DMA *ahem* "governs" itself by, here's the URL...

I agree. We used a grill ignite button, but used a can of starting ether to spray some ether into the expansion chamber. When you had the ether/air mix right (it was hit or miss), you could fire a potato around 300 yards. Dissappointing to hear the Germans are only getting 200 meter ranges. I wonder how well a hydrogen/oxygen mix would work. In the meantime, looks like I'll have to go buy myself a propane tank.:-)
Two Words... KILLER BEES! or... FREE KEVIN!
I can make yellow snow...
Damn, looks like I'll have to go back to drinking antifreeze!
Of course! Except in Soviet Russia, where WINDOWS RUNS YOU!
If cancer has you down
you need to turn your blue jeans brown
diarrhea!
diarrhea!
This is a sad commentary of todays college students.
I think its terrible that they engage in the sort of illicit activities like file swapping.
What ever happened to the good old days of underage drinking, and popping a few "uppers" during finals week?
Since Utah won't let them drop bowling balls, I wonder if anybody has thought of dropping bowling balls in Brunswick, Maryland?

(even when we lay you off!)
"A doomsday weapon and a clone and a retarded robot do NOT make a plot."
You're right! A huge ship powered by an Improbability drive, some guy with a towel and a depressed robot would have been much better!
You have to look at this with a sense of irony.
"It's always sad to have to make these decisions. It's even more difficult to defend them when our hands are tied behind our backs. "
Imagine that! They're into BSD and all tied up! Get it? Get it?
(Isn't FreeBSD an oxymoron?)

You're right the SciFi channel showed StarTrek VI "The undiscovered country" today.
...and once you sent it down a powerline, blow something up. Like an elephant.
"Even back then I was a larcenous little fsck,"
What? you robbed ext filesystems?
Sorry, hope my karma doesn't die from that lame attempt at humor.
