Is there anywhere I can buy some laminated cards with the drivers profiles on ?
I'd just need say a photo, their names, perhaps their age and some stats about their life and careers e.g. Maximum Milage, Eating Power, Intelligence Rating, stuff like that.
I'm not sure how bulky and hard to operate the laser mapping components in their trucks are but at some stage in the golden future it's not impossible to envision smaller versions being fitted to pizza delivery trucks, mail vans, buses etc and remotley beaming back up to date photos of places. Obviously some kind of nifty image processing would then take place to check whether any human effecting changes had taken place in the new pictures and if so the 3D map regenerated.
I agree though that I don't see this coming anytime soon.
A few posts up you were talking about how the modern ( American ) software industry is "shit", how it produces "shit" and that this was somehow due to a lack of patent protection.
Here however you have changed your tune and modern ( American ) software is no longer "shit" thanks to the wonder of Patents.
So you're saying that a few giant, monolithic, software companies engaged in constant patent battles with one another is the best way to produce innovation ?
Why not coat your robot in glue, soon it will be covered in stationary highly abrasive dust which should protect it from the airbourne highly abrasive dust or simply stick in the glue and replenish your armour.
So your solution is to allow companies to employ staff paid in food tokens to be exchanged at the company shop and maybe subsidse their rent in one of the company houses ( whilst they are still working for the company ) ?
No question your companies will be able to undercut those of any other Country but then what are you going to do.
Yeah but surely any half way intelligent evil doer will make sure his bots are all in a number of different bot-nets so that if he loses on he can still maintain control via the others.
Being a scientist he probably wouldn't just laugh at you but spend some time talking to you to ask about the evidence for these things you were describing to him, if you sufficently understood the subject there's a good chance he could pick it up from you.
"I don't wanna pick it up, Mister, you'll shoot me."
"Pick up the gun."
"Mister, I don't want no trouble. I just came downtown here to get some hardrock candy for my kids, some gingham for my wife. I don't even know what gingham is, but she goes through about ten rolls a week of that stuff. I ain't looking for no trouble, Mister."
Just like Spar ( So near so Spar ), employees have cards with purple borders and salesmen and contractors have cards with purple borders BUT with orange spots on them. The interesting thing is that with constant use the purple fades out to blue to long term employess have cards with blue borders. Until they either lose their cards, break them or have them replaced in which case they will have purple cards again unless they have left the company and returned as a contractor or salesman which would leave them with the card with the purple border with yellow spots.
In fact there are a lot of people here in the UK who do take action against speed cameras in order to disable them. There is even an organisation dedicated to this hobby. We don't need guns.
Goddamn right I am, my ass on the chair is the safest place for it the deviants they got around here now.
Any monkey can crawl around in the sand with a rifle, the real hard work is done in the factories and churches back home to equip those boys properly and urge them on. Government lobbyists perform an invaluable service also.
Goddamn right I support those liberations, of course I do. They were necessary to protect the freedoms of the free world in which we live.
What you obviously fail to realise is that yes I am civilan and yes I am responsible for the actions of my country, but let me tell you buddy I'm am not going to die ( although obviously I would unhesitatingly throw down my life for the cause of righteous and claim my reward in heaven )for supporting what is right and just. No, I will simply take my share of the glory when our job is done.
That definition of civilian is outdated and does not fit with the current world situation and the threats we now face as a people.
If our country is at war with the enemy then that entire country consitutes the threat, maybe we beat the armed forces into a cocked hat and conquer them but what then, insurrections, terrorism, suicide bombers ? All carried out by your oh so innocent civilians !
Merely harbouring some intellectual critisms of the leadership whilst supporting it's actions by continuing to work for that country, pay taxes and supporting your armed forces does not excuse you from the evil your country is responsible for and makes you a threat which must be neutralized.

This is a useful site:

Frankly that is quite possibly the case and there often aren't any other options.
Welfare can be used to help terrorists and will soon be stopped.
"Strike the shepard, and the sheep will scatter"
That's not true at all, sheep generally hang around in big mobs regardless of whether a shephard is present or not.
Even if what you said was true there is no evidence it would work for anything other than shephards and sheep.
Word on what street ?

You thin Evil Leprechauns are "fucking awesome" do you ?
Both my parents were slain by Evil Leprechauns and there was nothing "fucking awesome" about that you unfeeling bastard.
Assuming that I did wish to convince God I was serious and learn to accept his existence what benefits would I gain and how would it change my life ?
Are you so sure ?

Thanks for that link, it's brilliant. I am seriously considering buying an angle grinder and emulating this superhero.

This is an interesting link to a petition to stop the display of the Enola Gay.
