it may be cheaper and cheaper but your bill wont rember they have contracts with your county that lock out all competition. the same for at@t if you went to dsl and normally those 2 tend to work together to totally shutdown a area from free market. look whats going on right now we are actually having a fight over weather or not they can block sites or content complete with them trying to pass a bill to essentially kill off the fcc in keeping them in check.

my dad still watches tv i quit years ago. i get the same shows without all the ads and can watch them whenever. but he does watch Netflix as well on his blueray player i bought and recently has gotten the hang of a android tablet but a full on desktop machine does still overwhelm him for looking for shows.
yea i say late 80s and 90s was the best time for cars hell many are still on the road if they haven't rusted out. but now they throw so much crap in there cars its just more to go wrong and it does often. i wont even buy a new car with a auto trans all i see them do is fail sensor this sensor that. witch of course these days limits me to only a few model cars that still offer standard trans.
with these new system's if you did that the door would lock when you walked away. even with the new auto start systems if another person entered your car it would not start it can tell hes not the driver and the only way to bypass is it to insert the remote/key.
you don't know anything when you said sega. there first big fail was Saturn they managed to piss of both the devs and the retail stores before it was even launched an with a huge price tag for the time the system never left the shelves and when psx and n64 hit they had less then 10% of the market. the second fail was of course dreamcast but in this case it was not the price or even bad hardware in fact the dreamcast is frigging awesome but many devs didn't wanna come back to sega still felling the burn from Saturn and with the dvd player eqed ps2.coming out in a year sega did make a massive push with games and cheaper hardware but really the lack of a dvd player killed it the sails literately halted the day ps2 came out and stayed that way.
the simply fact is br was not all that much better then dvd a good up scaling dvd player looks nearly as good so very few people moved away. and sony tyed everything from inducing both to not putting stuff on dvd and failed.
history proves no matter how many time they overthrow whatever form of government we have sawing we will do better this time around it always brakes down into what we have now its a endless cycle. not saying are current government isn't reaching its end of life the only thing keeping them in power right now is welfare and entitlement when that come crashing down get ready for a mess. and the cycle will repeat they will be decent and small for a little wile before going right back to there old ways.

yep back when you got cable internet basic cable came with it then they started blocking that and charging for that as a extra service.

umd was awesome on the psp the fail part was they never made any stand alone movie players.

that's the nice thing with 3d printing it can make all the measurements etc and make one far cheaper.
