yea iv seen lots of solar chargers for laptops. but for a realtime sloution your gonna need a straght panel and inverter with at least 150 watts. you could use the onbord laptop battery to hold a charge or more then 1 battery. but for a long term storage charge you would need a deep cycle.
not to metion solar laptops have been done. all you need is like 150watt panel and a inverter. plenty to power a netbook add a battery and enough for the entire night as well.

man the free av torjen installer oldest scam in the book. i run adblock and flashblock on firefox and i havent seen one of those in a very long time. i sware people who do those scams need to be shot in the street. if you whant a free av ask a frend so he can point you to the avast or avg site and not some dammed random flash ad thats probly a vires.

wga has been cracked to the point updates work again. couse we all knoe everyone pirats windows. but i have seen legit machines simply loaded with enough garbageware it will make anyone go wtf. and i blame the venders there how many installers today of any softwhere does not whant you to install some sort of crap along with it hardly any. and all that garbage gets by the novice user.
as in windows dosent catch shit removel tool. so yes im on your side hear i have seen slome sad machines somehow still running full of spyware mailware etc. of course there calling me asking why there machine is a slow unstable mess. a reformat and a antivires install later they have a fast happy machine again that tends to stay that way couse many antivires also catch mailware.

a chrome os device needs the inetrnet just to get pased the login screen. you cant use this os without the net why i call it a stillborn os couse its going to flop heck most people aruldy dont care abought it and say whers andoride x86.

we did the free pc thing in the adversing boom pre dot crash. you could get a pc for free the trade off they where allowd to display ads on your pc. when the ad boom died people that got the free pc where allowd to keep them and they offerd a uninstaller for the ads. if google saw enough profit from allowing them to sell all your info to advertisers above the cost of the hardware dont think they wouldent offer a free cr-48 to anyone who whanted it and would agree to those terms.
well ubuntu seems to get worse with every relese. yes this isnt a lts and is a test version but unity relly has made many walk away. its the do it are way attude most people seem to get from this being you cant acess half the things you should be able to in unity. then the attude we got abought power users switching to a diffrent distro does he relise his user base is 80% power users who simply like a simple distro but will do just fine elseware. but ubuntu wouldent fare so well. as for switching distros i would avoide fedora they have always been more a testbed for redhat enterprise. debians communty normaly is the putoff for many people not that the os itsself has any issues heck many distros are based of it including ubuntu. i will probly return to opensuse myself.

300$ man you can get used eeepc systems for like 150$. normaly the 4-8 ssd models but sometimes you will find a 120gb model for the same price.
