well like now the trend is shifting to the internet when it comes to tv and music. so they blame pirates for there shrinking subcribers or higher rates for no reasion. if the trend shift again they will just blame something else probably pirates. people have been pirating stuff on pc sense the apple 2 and frigging copyed floppys and bbs modems. then on the web sense it birth with low quality wmv and rmvb files and for 20 years nobody complained. the trends shift and somehow its the pirates..
ads dont bother me to mutch. internet tv on the other hand is offering the same content at a far cheaper rate then a cable subscription. many brodcasters have adpoted to the net some are still to worryed abought charging more for cable wile its subcriber base shrinks.those few networks i do pirate. but if thers a legit souce on the net like hulu or the brodcasters website i do indeed use it.
dosent matter where you work management will run over there employees.hell basic human nature there. if you can gain something by running over some strangers wouldent you.
sorry theirs plenty of opengl apps on linux that work fine and are rock solid. pretty much any native game hell even wine what you think it renders in. compiz etc. even if it was true they only white list only nivida and not ati drivers what does that tell you. simple they wrote it for nivida drivers then tried to run it on non nividas and got bad results. at least come out and say that and not spread total bs and lies bought linux and opengl. i will admit some cards can be buggy and crash due to drivers but most cards run just fine heck i think only via cards are the only ones left with poor support intel ati nivida all make linux drivers.

for some reason sony microsoft etc that all lost lawsuits to hackers in the past dont seem to think the rules apply to new consoles. of course they do and they just lose the lawsuit again. and the hacker has a valid point on there being no door to close.
most 3g modems regardless of the career well fall back to older networks of 3g is not available. my frend had the same issue at work the towers where still only edge so thats what he got there for a long time untill they finnly upgraded them to 3g.
yea people like you get the short end of the stick due to everyone owing a smart-phone and leeching bandwidth for no good reason. thats the down side if there gonna sell 3g stand alone modems then you need to be placed on a sepret node then the millions of smart-phone users so they can handle someone using it as there primary connection.
people that are out of reach of dsl cable. peoples lives are never in the same place for long. so there is a market for people who need a mobile connection. the problem is its far more then any provider was ready for. my buddy who works securty bought a 3g modem so he had internet at work and being hes not always in the same place many times they do not have wifi in range.
satellite is crap. you think 5gb is bad try a 200mb cap. and they throttle you all the way back into the dark ages 56k. even capped 3g your probably looking at edge speed. might also shop around. cricket for 1 offers home 3g modems with no caps. maybe you have a simler smaller provider offering the same type of service.
sounds like your not getting 3g speeds more like edge. or this is why there imposing this limit there network performance has been suffering by not imposing any sort or limit.
there site may not have the change yet but on there lesser limited plans at least on sprint its printed in a huge font 5gb limit. im shure thers will say the same.
yes but those thing your use your pc or a wifi hotspot for. they probably throttle you down to edge speeds, still useful for browsing but forget netflicks etc. i assume this is going to apply to there 25$ unimited data phone plans to. 5gb still could play wow all month long mmos use very little data unless theirs a update. we did wow for one month purely on 3g and used 250mb data. i still prefer that from being cutoff or being charged by the mb when i whent over if i ever did.
well of course people choose iphone at@t that was there only choice unless they got a unlocked on ebay. i own both a iphone and androide device. guess witch one gets more use and has more power.
didnt i say to sell more phones yes i did. i beleve you on the windows mobile and blackberry but andoride users will not switch to ios. andoride is awesome beats a iphone anyday.
