    Loss leader means they're loosing money, going into the red. Apple simply isn't making a profit on itunes, they're not loosing cash from it.

    If they don't deal with the Riaa they loose access to a bunch of popular artist and thats not good business. The contracts the artist sign usually don't allow them to deal with any one else to distribute their music but the company they signed with

    Most schools have different budgets for labor, infrastructure, etc and you can't reallocate extra cash from one area to another. When I was in highschool they were building a new gymnasium and a olympic size pool. At the same time we were having about 18 teachers being laid off because of a cut budget for labor.

    A major problem is a bunch of programs only run correctly when you have administrative privledges when there is no reason other than not making an attempt at making it run for a normal user. See thats the catch if microsoft made it so you're not administrator by default that would make the usability go down big time for a large chunk of people.

    Would you believe that some people don't have administrative priveledges on their computers at work? That means they can't patch it themselves, don't go calling people names all willy nilly.

    Heres the difference, when you're selling a cd on ebay you're selling the media. This guy is selling the song itself, not a license(as if he could) and isn't offering to transfer his license to listen to the music. As much as you might hate to say it someones IP is getting trampled on to make a point.
