ahh thanks for clearing that up. Just seemed whatever i was looking for with msn was very outdated and what i searched with google was right on the money.
the satellite images they are using are sometimes 10 years old or more! Google's images are very recent and accurate. Nice try Micrsoft but google has you beat on this one.
i dont know about that - all the conceptual designs looked sleek and sexy, the usual apple aesthetic. I especially liked the iPhone. If apple really does follow through with some of these ideas, we're in for an exciting time to be a consumer.
right- not really fair to blame the tool or the creator, but rather the wielder of the tool. Be it a car , knife, or piece of software. Unfortunately for us, the gov't finds it easier to shut down the entire service rather than go after the traders due to time/money/manpower.
legislators seemingly wont care if there are some legitimate files out there being shared via torrent.I'd bet that if u looked at ISP logs that you would see the vast majority of torrent traffic is for illegal files.
As long as there are some illegal warez being shared its still illegal and the underlying tool for distrubution (see bittorrent) will be blamed for the propagation of said illegal files.
the rating system has done a good job with warning parents about violence and adult content in video games. Its up to the store vendors and the parents to obey the ratings and be aware of the what kids are playing.
didnt they do this to music too?- by adding jitters and damage to the tracks that were to subtle to be heard but very picked up by sensitive burning software. This may only affect those pirates that copy movies right of the screens but not the pirated screeners and leaked movies that come out of the studio...
that wasnt my point, the parent post was asking why the spammers arent advertising for help hacking the anti-spammmers. My response was because its illegal to solicit this kind of illegal assistance.
why the hell would spammers go out in the open to hire hackers to DDOS these people? In case u didnt know its illegal to hire a black hat to cause damage to private property. Who else is going to go after the anti-spammers? Judging by your wonderful nick, u like spam, so the answer may not be so apparent to you. And i cant go after them cuz im not a law enforcement official you fuckin troll.
between spams about penis enlargement, viagara, weight loss miracles, and hot co-eds who just "moved into my area" i'm beginning to second-guess my skills with the ladies. My inbox is flooded with this shit not to mention goddamned microsoft virus-spawned emails touting a fake patch.
Neil,
Nevewhere was completely based on England. American Gods completely based on the U.S. Since you moved to the states, do you feel that your writing style has changed for better or worse by American culture?
this just brings us back to the age old question - should software companies be held responsible for monetary and possibly phsyical shortfalls that can arise from flawed code? Until there is some sweeping legislation introduced, MS's EULA will cover their pussy asses against anything.
MS on the desktop is hardly acceptable, but it should not be used at all in mission critical systems/networks.

the question of which handheld is better is irrelevant if it was in the hands of a victim of stinkpalm
50 million doesn't really sound like that much money considering the big names in that list. I mean phd's usually get compensated well right?
it could have taken out a satellite by chance
its no one's water. It's God's water!
counter-terrorists win!
