    the satellite images they are using are sometimes 10 years old or more! Google's images are very recent and accurate. Nice try Micrsoft but google has you beat on this one.

    i dont know about that - all the conceptual designs looked sleek and sexy, the usual apple aesthetic. I especially liked the iPhone. If apple really does follow through with some of these ideas, we're in for an exciting time to be a consumer.

    right- not really fair to blame the tool or the creator, but rather the wielder of the tool. Be it a car , knife, or piece of software. Unfortunately for us, the gov't finds it easier to shut down the entire service rather than go after the traders due to time/money/manpower.

    legislators seemingly wont care if there are some legitimate files out there being shared via torrent.I'd bet that if u looked at ISP logs that you would see the vast majority of torrent traffic is for illegal files. As long as there are some illegal warez being shared its still illegal and the underlying tool for distrubution (see bittorrent) will be blamed for the propagation of said illegal files.

    didnt they do this to music too?- by adding jitters and damage to the tracks that were to subtle to be heard but very picked up by sensitive burning software. This may only affect those pirates that copy movies right of the screens but not the pirated screeners and leaked movies that come out of the studio...

    between spams about penis enlargement,viagara,weight loss miracles, and hot co-eds who just "moved into my area" i'm beginning to second-guess my skills with the ladies. My inbox is flooded with this shit not to mention goddamned microsoft virus-spawned emails touting a fake patch.

    this just brings us back to the age old question - should software companies be held responsible for monetary and possibly phsyical shortfalls that can arise from flawed code? Until there is some sweeping legislation introduced, MS's EULA will cover their pussy asses against anything. MS on the desktop is hardly acceptable, but it should not be used at all in mission critical systems/networks.
