But some materials are currently "downcycled" into less desirable products that can be recycled no further. Soft-drink bottles made from PET (polyethylene terephthalate), for example, often end up as polyester fibers in clothing or carpets. It is possible to make new PET bottles from recycled stock, but the process is currently more expensive than making them from petroleum.
You're totally out to lunch on Venezuela's problems. Every other oil-producing economy in the world was able to weather the drop in oil prices. Venezuela's problems are uniquely due to the socialist dictatorship in charge. For example, when inflation drove the prices of necessities up, the government mandated fixed prices for those necessities. Because shop owners could no longer afford to sell those necessities, they stopped selling them. Instant country-wide shortages of basic necessities like toilet paper. https://www.theguardian.com/gl...
They've been temporarily transferred to Tesla, along with many other imaginary billions; the company that sells less than 1% as many cars as Ford sells, yet is somehow is worth more.
Not any more. Unemployment is now defined as when you don't have a job, but are actively looking for one. Not counted are those that have stopped looking, those that have done any kind of work just to make a dollar but aren't holding a job (if you earned $20 in a week, you're not considered unemployed), and those that are working part-time but want full time.
Reading comprehension fail. You don't know what a double negative is. (Never without work) means always working. (Never without work unwillingly) means always working unless forced not to.
Your summary is asinine. Not all businesses make huge profits. Many are borderline profitable, or losing money. Increasing minimum wage forces these businesses to make cuts in order to stay viable.
It's climate science, so there's no math to show. But I could show you a computer model that shows a net negative feedback loop exists in the atmosphere...
But increased water vapor means increased clouds, and clouds increase the planet's albedo, leading to less insolation on the surface, so fortunately it may actually work.
Anecdotal evidence says you're wrong...

And finally, here's a story about the freezing winter of 2015 in Tampa: http://www.tampabay.com/news/w...
It is a little cold, but we can warm it up. It has a very helpful atmosphere, which, being primarily CO2 with some nitrogen and argon and a few other trace elements, means that we can grow plants on Mars just by compressing the atmosphere.
Just by compressing the atmosphere...? How do you compress an entire planet's atmosphere?
"And if Clinton had been discovered doing even half of all the corrupt bullshit Trump has been caught doing, she would have been impeached already"
Okay, what corrupt bullshit has he been caught doing? The majority of people in DC (including lots of GOP members) and most in the media want him impeached. If there was anything they could potentially impeach him on, it would be all over the news 24/7.
LMAO, you're fucking stupid. Please refer to my above post where I clearly state CO2 absorbs infrared radiation. I'm not asking for verification of that fact. We know that. However, our atmosphere is not 100% CO2. So do you want to take another stab at finding the info I said was needed, or are you just going to continue being an obtuse moron?
Great, way to link to a paper that doesn't actually provide what I stated was needed. I know CO2 absorbs infrared radiation. I stated that already. Nice attempt at deflection though.
No, I didn't go to college, I went to University. I majored in Computer Science. I took chemistry, geology, and physics courses in addition to my major. There were no experiments in any of my chemistry courses that measured CO2 absorption at different concentrations and with different variables (presence of other gasses). So now that you've gone and opened your mouth and spouted your opinion, please provide the data that you are so sure has been calculated numerous times in all these college chemistry courses. Go ahead, I'm waiting....
"CO2 has the properties it has"
Indeed it does. Unfortunately, the scientific community hasn't actually quantified these properties. Does CO2 absorb infrared radiation? Yes it does. But so does water vapor, and methane gas. I have yet to see the experiments where they quantify CO2's absorption at different concentrations and in the presence of different concentrations of other gasses. There's also the issue of how thunder storm cells and hurricanes move massive amounts of heat from the surface to the top of the troposphere, and how, if at all, CO2 interacts with this mechanism.
They're not coughing up money. They're borrowing 1 billion dollars by issuing bonds on the promise of spending it on green tech. And I can't find anywhere in the article where it mentions what rate of return the bond is paying.
It's funny, in primary school they teach the kids about Nazi Germany's use of propaganda to coerce public opinion, but they then leave it at that, like propaganda died when Germany was defeated. Propaganda is alive and well in our modern media.
What fucking horseshit. The Clinton Foundation is NOT an incredibly efficient charity. They take in tons of money, and they fly the Clintons and all of their key POLITICAL PEOPLE around the world at zero cost to those people with money DONATED FOR CHARITY. And when it comes time to actually do charity work, they dole SOME money out to have other ACTUAL charitable organizations do the ACTUAL charity work. Basically all they do is pass donated money on to other charities while taking a commission for doing so. Take off your partisan glasses. The Clinton Foundation is a free rewards machine for the Clintons and their inner circle.
I doubt there would've been pushback. The GOP were great at talking, but when it came time to stand for conservative principles, they were nowhere to be found. Just look at how they staged their opposition to Obama's Iran deal. They introduced a fatally flawed bill (Corker bill) that allowed Obama to bypass the 2/3rds Senate majority rule required for a treaty.

Plants actively remove CO2 from the atmosphere. The higher the CO2 concentration, the greater the plant growth.
