    hmm looks like you didn't setup winXP or your bios etc right, that's not what XP usually does (even if it sucks).
    Maybe you should try to reinstall (that's what you usually do when you have a problem with windows)...

    does the user like the kind of information you usally get on the web...

    is the query good?

    what is searched for (what area)

    that's right but usb-mice ALWAYS run at 125Hz while ps/2-rate changes go from 75-200Hz while you move your mouse. This is why USB finally feels much smoother...

    it's the reason why I installed NetBSD on one of my boxen. So if they change the logo and I don't like it...I'll have to setup OpenBSD or FreeBSD again ;)

    no seriously I don't see any reason why the current logo should offend anyone...it's just a cartoon!

    even if the source code is maybe "better" and I still like mysql for simple stuff it can't replace oracle in most situations yet. It still lags of features/safety in some ways...
