Google already is able to decide I am not allowed to watch porn images by default, so it is clearly playing judge and juror.

Giving you a tool to turn on/off those images in no way makes them "judge and juror". The option is yours.

If you read the article you linked to, it points out that Adams correctly states that Trump wasn't referring to the supremacists, but to people who were pro and anti statue. So, you're doing exactly what Adams points out...taking it out of context.

“I mean, my favorite example is Charlottesville,” Adams said. “When there was a protest about pro- and anti-statues and the president said that there were fine people on both sides, that was reported as he says there were fine people in the racist group, you know, the white supremacists.” “That wasn’t really the context. The context was pro-statue, anti-statue,” Adams continued.

Agreed, but then it can be okay to make the other person angry depending upon the relationship you need to maintain with them. If it's a one-off negotiation (new car purchase for example), who cares. But if it's your future boss, well that's a entirely different story.

Are the percentage of fires different between fed controlled and CA lands? If so, you might have a case, otherwise you're just political trolling.

It would appear that there's plenty of blame to go around. And while it's all fun and games to point the finger at the big corporation, WTF are you going to do to fix the problem when it's a highly regulated public utility? Sorry, but CA brought this upon itself with screwed up laws, regulations, lawsuits, lack of proper forest management, etc. Do you think some other utility is suddenly going to pop up to replace them? All of these lawsuits end up being effectively paid for by the taxpayers because the cost gets passed along.

In my old age, I've become more interested in my family genealogy, so doing an Ancestry kit about a year ago was very enlightening. My folks were divorced when I was still in diapers, so I knew next to nothing about my father's side since there was no contact. And, what I thought I knew about my mother's side was quickly tossed out the window. I knew her parents had German ancestry, but after getting my results back and spending just a few hours of searching back, I discovered French, Irish, Scottish, English and Polish lineage along with the German all the way back to the 1400s, and documentation to go with it. Along with a couple of Civil War officers buried about a hundred miles south of me, and some Scottish lords and ladies. Does it really mean anything...no, but it's kinda fun.

FWIW, I'm 100% American, but it doesn't make me any less of a mutt who was curious where he came from.

However, far too often, we see people taking offense to wording such as Washington Redskins. If you find that offensive, it's on you, not the source of the words.

Air Traffic Control (ATC) tells the pilot what four digit code to put into their transponder in order to identify them when compared to other aircraft. The pilot can push a button known as "Squawking your ident" in order for them to show up better on ATC's screens. There are some special codes for emergencies. But your comment about disabling a transponder is pointless because it's a simple matter of flying low enough for most radars to not see you. I can tell you this from personal experience because I was on "flight following" while working on my first solo "cross country" at ~1800 feet ASL when I had a close call with an A10, and got on my radio to complain about no warning from ATC. I was told that I was flying kind of low for them to see, and that was with military grade radar.
