Microsoft should be working on getting their operating software and existing software to work better, before they start buying into every other market.
First Amendment Center is a great site to find out more about the first ammendment. There's an article about flag-burning specifically: http://www.firstamendmentcenter.org/speech/flagbur ning/overview.aspx?id=562&SearchString=flag_burnin g
Well, maybe in Elementary schools. But even in high school, I haven't had a single mandatory class about government.
And that fact about literacy doesn't sound right at all. Where did you find that?
That's very true. Every year since the fifth grade, they've shoved it down our throats. My first class about government was 8th grade Civics. It is the only time you are every required to know it.
I am a high school student. In one of my classes, we have bi-monthly discussions about current events that last the entire period. It amazes me how little some students know about our government. And to be honest, I can't blame them. The only time we ever studied the government was in 8th grade civics. Sure you can take Government class, but there are no other mandatory classes that teach students about our government in my school district.
I've just recieved my copy today. It seems like there have been a lot of articles about him just being released right about now. This can't be just a coincidence, can it?
It's a very interesting article and it seems very plausible that this is the direction Apple is heading. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it plays out.
Am I the only one who has noticed that Microsoft seems to be lacking in the program-naming department? First they introduced Microsoft Anti-Spyware, now they've introudced Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool. Come on Microsoft, get creative!
Couldn't an enemy pick one of these things up and just rewire then so they can control them? I don't think its such a good idea. And who knows what might happen if it malfunctions.:/
The I-PAC interface from Ultimarc has been the long-time favorite of builders of MAME cabinets. They offer a 28-input interface for $40 and a 56-input interface for $65. That saves you $20 on what looks like is the exact same thing.
Although, I had considered buying one of the X-Arcade two-player setups, because my soldering/electronical skills aren't great. If anyone can find a cheaper or more authentic one that can hook up to the PC easily, direct me to it.
I for one am glad Apple has created an iPod Photo rather than replacing the normal iPod. I have an iPod for my music collection. Not my image collection. Not my video collection. If they do add video capabilites (which I think they are well able to do), they would do best by marketing it as an iPod Video or another product not affiliated with the iPod. And if I do get one, it won't replace my iPod, it will just be something extra.
Why are there no stars or other cellestial bodies (other than the glaring Sun) in any of the photographs?
I don't know very much about this type of thing, so please excuse me if the answer is an obvious one.
It's interesting how President Bush says he wants us to go back to the moon and to Mars, then he cuts NASA's budget.

Well thank God the media informed everyone of this leak and where to get the information...
"Jim is a spy?! He told me he was a doorknob salesman!"
I wonder about the quality of these phones. Does anyone know how they compare to today's VoIP phones (such as the ones offered by Vonage)?
I've never needed the use of a wall callendar, let alone an app that runs on my PC. I'll stick to writing everything down on my arm, thanks.
Since we're speaking about Microsoft, I'm hardly surprised...
There hasn't been a serious virus for the Mac in about 3 years.
Just search the string "hardware keylogger" on Google. Lots of results.
Skype is a Voice-over-IP program that runs on your computer. It allows you to make phone calls over the internet to anywhere in the world for free.
My thoughts exactly.

But wouldn't this open up more engineering jobs for younger guys? We all know the IT job market has been in a slump for the past couple years.

Very nice review! I might just have to get this book (when I finish reading all the other books on my list :/).
