Actually, there's a few different chips we're talking about...
There's the Mobility Radeon, which is just a low-power version of the desktop Radeon GPUs. Read: discrete graphics.
Then, there's the Radeon Xpress, which is an integrated graphics chipset.
And, I'll note that I use my ThinkPad with integrated graphics for what little gaming I do, as opposed to my Mac with discrete graphics. Then again, my ThinkPad has a 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo, and a GMA X3100, whereas my Mac has a 1.2GHz G4, and a Mobility Radeon 9200.;)
Well, the technology may be used in something else, so it may still be possible.
But, as for modern tops being hard to cut... when the top was replaced on my Miata, the 10 year old top... cut like BUTTER - and that was just with a tension cable (the cable needed to come out anyway,) let alone a knife. And, the new top wouldn't be that much harder to cut.
Also, legalization would make it possible to not self-incriminate when going to get help for the drug issues, and would actually make it easier to get out of such a life.
I'll note, however, on the child porn thing... higher demand would equal higher production. So, an artificial demand constraint (illegalizing viewing of it) is necessary, even with artificial supply constraints.
That makes the HUGE assumption that I was actually involved in the selection of my government.
And, I'll note that the US Constitution specifically states that people have the right to bear arms... and one huge reason for that is in the event that they DO need to rebel against their government.
Interestingly, while I can barely get a Windows machine to come back from sleep (or sometimes go INTO sleep,) I have zero problems with hibernate, even with massive hardware changes.
(Once, I even upgraded RAM, which should make Windows freak out, when the memory map's changed from when it was hibernated, but it just kept on trucking. Reboot, and it saw all the new RAM. Downgrading obviously wouldn't work as well.;))
And I'll note that, except for the fact that Spotlight likes to eat 100% CPU for ages (so I disabled it,) and that sometimes some keymapping settings don't stick, Leopard runs fine on my iBook G4 (12", 1.2GHz.) The OS itself has never crashed for me.
The point is that they... #1, only connected to the tracker, and didn't download anything, and #2, were trying to prove a point. They successfully proved that point.
Also, they weren't trying to make the police think they were doing something illegal, they were trying to get C&Ds from the RIAA.

Option 3: Send them a one-time-use URL to download a DRMed copy of the album.
There are USB hard drives, you know.
Also, Opera makes it ridiculously easy to disable all plugins for just a certain site, or all sites (even temporarily.)
The encryption coprocessor on VIA CPUs is for encrypting things faster, not decrypting them faster.
Mine's the earlier 1.6L, so I think almost every new minivan on the market is faster to 60... but that's not what the car's about. ;)
:)
And, yes, I replaced my top with a glass window top.

You expect SLASHDOT MODERATORS to make sensical mods? ;)
;)
Hell, I was almost expecting "Flamebait" or "Troll." I'll take an up-mod, even if it's the wrong one.
Actually, I think we might have made it to a point that we NEED a civil war to have any hope of improving our government.
Bah, I totally and utterly brainfarted.
I meant, cars on dealer lots...
Look at Europe.
They have trucks, too.
Right, but guess what's on dealer lots?
That's right, automatics.
And, all of those incentives are for cars with automatics, so if you order a manual, you don't get the incentives.
Except you can't, because you HAVE TO SIGN THE CONTRACT to get the $199 iPhone.
No contract, no phone.
Not a game, but Netscape skipped version 5.
Of course, that's partially because 5 was already in development when the decision was made to go with Gecko instead.
Simple. Drug production doesn't hurt anyone (as long as it's in proper conditions for the workers.) Child porn production does.
I wasn't claiming that Intel did. I was claiming that NexGen (who was bought by AMD) did.
What was the first processor that did use a CISC front end for a RISC-like architecture, then?
AFAIK, it's the NexGen Nx586, using an i386-compatible front end with "RISC86" architecture.

Multiple Sclerosis vs. Microsoft, which one's worse?
I don't think making a child is the intent of porn...
Actually, there are Vista design guidelines for keyboards, if not mice.
IIRC, the Windows key has to be dimpled, and there might be some positioning requirements.
What about CISC-to-RISC translation?
I do believe that was first done by an x86 CPU, the NexGen Nx586 (the predecessor to the AMD K6...)
