5400 rpms.... ugh. i didn't even know they were still making those. anyway. 300GB is a lot of movies... i mean, files in a small amount of space... MPAA and RIAA ain't luvin' it.
well crap of course ie's winning... i didn't even know Mozilla and Opera were available (and free) for WinX platforms until recently. The problem isn't microsoft it's not enough folks getting the word out to everyone that you don't have to accept ie.
currently rocking mozilla, just because. building a red hat box in the next few weeks to begin my transfer to the dark side.
I used to read the local paper in the morning. i'd read a national paper at work. i'd watch local news at home in the evening. i'd maybe browse one or two of my wife's magazine on the weekend. i myself had a few magazine subscriptions.
all of this has changed because of the internet. i don't watch much tv, hardly any news. I don't have any subscriptions to newspapers or magazines anymore. I don't even buy a morning paper on the way to work. the internet has become, for the most part, my one stop shop for news, reviews, and entertainment. and i haven't been to a library for quite some time.
Hey, fellow TiVo fan! Yeah, i've had mine for a year now. I rarely watch a show during it's scheduled slot. At the same time, I think there is a relatively small number of folks using 'em when compaired the the masses of non-TiVo believers. I hardly think they're even showing up on the network radars yet.
i'd prefer to see my favorite star drinking a can of Coca-Cola than a can of Cohe anyday.
I think it was the Roseanne show that spoofed more name brands than any other without it being an intentional parody. I remember sodas, snacks, laundry detergents, regular household items that looked just like the name brand, save a letter or two different.
uh, my company sends more than 100 e-mails per day. we receive 500 e-mails a day, and someone has to reply to 'em. some of our customers prefer to do their business online. we can give them the url over the phone, but so many just say, "E-mail me, I'll check it out later."
They could conceivably switch to Windows.
go buy a Microsoft Broadband Home Networking Router or Wireless Access point.
They actually run Windows CE.
You would never make that statement again.
CE running network hardware is about the biggest mistake made thus far in home networking.
400 Hours.
a brand new Tivo does 4800 minutes, stock, out of the box.

I haven't experienced a BSOD in nearly two years on any of my three XP boxes.
i would have thought red hat would have been in there with the other stereotypes, but alas...
Do you mean Mozilla Thunderbird?

The US Government is spending $53,000,000 over the next 5 years to make sure everybody knows that this is a real note, so go get acquainted with one.
