Anyone thinking that this is Microsoft releasing all these exploits? Would be a clever tactic, hiring a group of security consultants to hack away at firefox all day long:)
Evil worm army of death:
Step1) Code evil worm in perl. Compile it into an exe using activestate perl compiler thingy.
Step2) Sniff traffic that xbox/sends recieve to download/install patches without user's persmission.
Step3) Emulate the method that the xbox uses, install evil worm into 10 xboxes.
Step4) Watch microsoft be held responsible for bringing down major websites thanks to the evil worm DDoSing.
Though he is correct (linux will eventually take over windows role on the market/windows becomes *nix based like macos x)...one should not listen to him...known for many sick things, including "trashing" microsoft dumpsters, and quotes such as:"Succeeding is not enough, everyone else must fail".
(Ironically, hes my role model)
Why not go after the ones distributing the illegal media, instead of someone who just made a tool inteded for legal use...??
Its like suing knife makers for being the cause of murders!
Think of the DDOS possibilities...
Send out a couple *fake* attacks to some "protected" hosts that are well spoofed with the desired targets real identity as the source...and wham, now you have a ton of "good" sites attacking someone else...completely anonymously!
