    I hear from Trump critics the following two trains of thought, which are inconsistent with each other:
    1) He's a big criminal masterminding an organized conspiracy of Collusion with Russia and keeping it under wraps.
    2) He's an absolute moron.

    I tend to believe #2, however I admit I could be incorrect: However, assuming he is a moron, that pretty much rules out the whole collusion issue: with a moron, it would have been much more obvious.
    That doesn't rule out Russian interference- they were certainly capable of interfering, and the report says as much.

    Switch the Brits with the Australians for a few years. The Australians will fix the Brits water system as they're used to conserving, and the Brits will learn how to use reasonably effective water storage. Then flip them all back!

    He's right. But that generally applies to life overall: If you base anything on the goodwill, and most importantly the actionable goodwill of others, then you're a fool. Goodwill, while nice, is unreliable.

    Dude, I'm old enough to remember when they changed over to plastic bags from paper because TREES DIE WITH PAPER. Plastic was the magical solution to all those forests being cut down. I have clear memories of this as the justification.
    So any change along these lines, rightly so, should be accurately judged.

    Its still a training problem, if the knowledge of the system and how to turn it off would resolve the issue.
    To use your example "Your car is going to suffer a deadly crash unless we tell you about the magic button that disables the crash system.Proper training would allow you to know about this magic button and save the car.".
    Just because it's a training issue doesn't mean its the pilots fault: They just weren't trained.

    It's like calling your fine restaurant "Exciting Gruel".
    Nobody wants to ride on a bus in the air, even if that is what it really is.

    Most rich didn't pay that percentage at all. they deducted/invested/ creatively invested it.
    Simply put in place a linear scale for taxation on income, a basic flat tax slightly increasing for each additional dollar earned.
    Have NO deductions. Taxes are income to run things, not social scolds or charities.
    Then everyone will pay and have a stake in the issue. Even if a poor guy is only paying $1 a year.

    There are laws against loaning money to Drug Cartels, and there are laws against Child Pornography. If you wish to bring about a law holding a bank responsible for every loan it legally makes, feel free to run for office.

    Generally, when someone says "That is a fact", it usually isn't. Just like when someone says "Honestly, I'm telling the truth" they usually aren't.

    No.
    We simply have to pay doctors and nurses less.
    It's pretty straightforward.
    The problem, is that many in this profession want to maintain their current compensation AND cover everyone. You cannot cover both.

  21. You know what? terrible jobs are needed. They're MOTIVATION. If all jobs were honey and roses, you'd never leave them.
    How many people moved on to great discoveries or inventions because they didn't wanna get stuck in THAT place doing THAT thing?
    It makes you work harder, be more creative, discover skills in your self.

    Also, We need the bad to appreciate the good.
