As long as there are developing countries one would imagine. The Nokia 1100 is the world's best selling phone. 250 million 1100's have been sold since its launch in late 2003. Nokia has recently come up with a replacement the Nokia 110 (that I'm really hoping to get a hold of).

I have a GSM smart phone. It does tricks like check my e-mail and weather. But the other 90% of the time I'm just carrying the 1100. The battery on standby lasts a week give or take. If It gets dropped I don't worry about the screen cracking. And if I'm ever mugged I can always bludgeon the mugger with it.

It looks gorgeous and there is a theme out there for everyone's personal taste.

I'm running it on a 1.8 gHz celeron that chokes on HD content but thankfully Nvidia and VDPAU exist and I've played even the highest bitrate blueray rips without even a stutter.

It just means you have to cycle the water more frequently. It's been rather humid lately and the water doesn't evaporate but it warms up. So you get new water.

AC is one of the least efficient ways of cooling someone. Just like in the winter you can save a ton on your heating bills if you get an electric blanket. One for the couch and one for the bed. The heat is applied directly to the skin and you're warmer. Cooling 1700 sqft of house for 3 people is horrible in efficient. Cooling 2 cups of water and putting it on your head to absorb heat from your body is much better.

If I've come back from a long run nothing cools me down faster than 1 or 2L frozen water bottle applied directly to arteries.
