You can see from today's AAPL chart that the average investor thinks this overblown. The dip and the quick recovery occurred when the news about this accusation came out.
Actually, this news surfaced yesterday so the dip was Tuesday about noon.
Only the threat of real violence is ever going to stop anybody. Peaceful protest doesn't work.
I would like to think that Martin Luther King Jr. is a prime example of just how absurd this statement is. Do you really think that instead of delivering an inspiring "I have a dream" speach, he shot every white person in the area, would have been a step forward for black civil rights?? Do you think that instead of, peacefully refraining from moving to the back of the bus, Rosa Parks shot up every white person on the bus, that things would have actually changed for black civil rights?? Peaceful protests do work and have worked in the past. It is very ignorant to think that killing people is the only answer.
There's an old saying that freedom must be taken. If we want to be free of these gangsters, then we need to take action, and it's very likely going to have be violent action because these days nobody understands anything else.
The terrorists have won.
Don't you see that by saying, violent action is the only action, you become the very person you despise. Those exact words were probably uttered at a terrorist training camp.
The last time I checked I have the freedom to join which ever religion i wish, I have the freedom to choose which ever career I want to pursue and I have the freedom to speak freely about this very subject without being prosecuted. So no I don't think the terrists have won at all.
Because if a corporation built the base, it would belong to the corporation. If a government builds the base, it belongs to the people. If governments build the base, it belongs to the human race.
And if it belongs to the human race then, all your base are belong to us!!
I'm not usually a guy to whine about spelling, but it's "hear", not "here". If you want people to take you seriously, spelling is important.
You must be new here.

Who is to say it's not a good idea to go all in with 88. It all depends on the situation. What if you are short stacked on the button in a shorthanded game? What if you are playing with super tight players who will fold 90% of their hands? Maybe you sniffed some weakness and go all in with 27 offsuit. Who is to say that is a bad play? It could be a fantastic play. These are just a few situations one may come across, but in reality there are millions of situations and variables that go into a poker game. You can't just blanket all situations by saying all in with 88 is a bad idea.
I don't understand the problem.
My wife is relatively computer literate. But it comes down to a simple rule.
Don't download anything, don't install anything. Ignore all those taskbars and toolbars and toys.
we've had no trouble
Does your wife sit in front of a computer 8-10 hours a day? Well people at my company do and 50-70 percent of the time they aren't doing any work. They are spending most of the time finding the end of the Internet. That's one thing about the web and work; if you want to slack you can because you're at your computer looking like you're working, but you're really surfing. Now if your wife can surf the web 20-30 hours a week 351 days a year without finding any spyware, well then she's not relatively computer literate.
Well, how much would it be worth to you to be able to call your friends and family for free by using the Internet?
Well, if they are going to charge it wouldn't be free now would it?
Act now and you get the free phone for only $299 extra!!!
all of Congress is made up of lawyers. Where are the engineers and scientists? There are none.

Give system catchy name, vaguely reminiscent of Eminem's rap group
I'm sure they did this to appeal to the disproportionately-large numbers of African-Americans in the field of computer science.
The majority of Eminem's fan base is white.

The warrenty is void. All we can do is exchange it for a new one.

Perhaps a short attention span is a defense mechanism to help filter out people's bullshit.
I tried this line with my boss one time. Needless to say he was not pleased.
