I never had any problem with Ethereal in Windows XP... try an older version of WinPcap maybe, that should do it..
Or maybe I'm confused and what I think was Windows XP was actually Windows 2000, but I'm pretty sure my previous box at work was XP and ran ethereal..
I'll invite people too, but my domain expired today cause I'm a moron...anyways email me at gepeto@aliencow.com, eventually my spam filter will reply to you when my domain is back up...so I guess by tonight I could invite a few Slashbots.
30 seconds instead of 3... So it takes 10 reboots before being profitable... That's what, at least a year (because of power outages, and I'm not even there when that happens usually) so I think I'll continue being lazy and not caring at all that my reboots take 3 seconds more...
The Lexus IS300 is called the Toyota something in Europe I'm fairly sure of this.. as for Acuras, I know that you guys had a "Honda Vigor" which was an Acura model around here..
No, they'd be more secure if they were 100% server based like Casinos are. It's not like the outcome of the spin is determined on your pc. However, due to lag reasons, your PC has to know where everyone is even though you shouldn't see them..
Maybe with a wide 50inch plasma HDTV you could have it walk around with an animation of a human on it...kind of like in that crappy time travel movie with the guy in the library..
Then some porn company would probably buy you out..
I've been tempted to buy a DVD burner to backup some movies for a while.. I just don't know if there's an easy way to do it under Linux ? Even if it involves making a few command line scripts it'd be pretty easy I guess.. Anyone could point me to something useful ?
Does Courier-imap support IDLE?

No, longhorn.
"They must be running IIS on Longhorn!" or something. I heard that if nobody says something like that in a Slashdot thread, the universe implodes.
