    People have been predicting the demise of the record store since tapes were invented. OH NO! they screamed, the ease of copying tapes will drive all these people out of business....guess what, it will never happen. Records are better than CD's, you get much more for your money, they are tough as hell and only indie stores sell them. Instant niche market. Anachronistic record stores complaining about online stores taking their market, put your product...gasp...online! It is not hard, and there are plenty of out of work web developers and struggling hosting services that you could do it cheap. It is like buisinesses think consumers owe them something. "This is how we have always done it, we deserve to still make money from it even though people are demanding more".

    who is talking about the third world again?? oh ya because i always spend my hp-money in sub-saharran africa. Give me a break, most of the rest of the world at least uses holograms on their currency, try printing that with a damn $50 HP printer

    lesson 1: never listen to radio shack employees, you would probably get better advice from some random homeless people on the street, at least one of them is probably an out of work software engineer these days

    lesson 2 (for the grandparent): It could just be that doing basic for 3 years prepared you to do asm, which obviously has a steeper learning curve. Also, you just did the same thing to the great grandparent that the stupid HS teacher did to you, conratulations on being a complete hypocrite.

    But the point was that the moment you post something, that is make it public, then that method does not work anymore.

    only if the reason it worked is because nobody knew about it. This likely works because a spammer would have to be retarded to send spam to reportspam@fcc.gov or something, so they just filter all the 'spam' addresses.

    thats a pretty good point, especially if you drive a stick, and even more especially if you drive a crappy 4 cylinder stick like mine . knowing just how fast you are slowing down as you try to do 55 up a steep(hehehe i wish) hill in 5th is very helpful.

    hehe, i wear a friggin analog pocket watch, not only that but the damn hour hand points about 1/2 hour into the future. So the hour hand will be halfway between the two numbers but the minute will be on the 12. I think I am going to set it so that the hour hand is right and the minute hand is wrong, I work 12 hour shifts. minutes are for the weak.

    heh....yeah, I got hit with possesion of 0 x 40fucking grams hehe(i was carrying some crumbs because we had already smoked almost all of it). I got off pretty easy too though. $200 court costs and 1 year of 'probation' not real probation but the one where if they catch you again you are found guilty of the first count, i forget the name.

    Yes, I break laws, but I've never been in jail, or had a fine of more than US$160. EVER.

    well, I bet your tune will change mightily the day you are thrown in jail for smoking a plant most of the rest of the world seems to think is harmless. Or any number of the other stupid pointless laws that have been enacted in the US.

    DON'T do it in PUBLIC. anyone can look over your shoulder.

    I do have to wonder, is there any limit to this theory? I mean, I guess it is Ok for somebody to read something over my shoulder, though I would probably end up punching them in the head or something because I have some serious personal bubble issues. But when do you get some expectation of privacy? If I am sitting in a park with nobody around I expect a little privacy due to space, but is somebody allowed to read my e-mail with a 100x zoom. Or a 200x zoom. Is the government allowed to read everything we look at on the web with a super sattelite? Can the US gov read Europeans e-mail from space because it is in public? Is there ever a line to cross, or should I just go subterranian???
