I disagree with your general assessment. OXM is pretty brutal on games even though it is the official publication.
And as a former reviewer for a now defunct mag, I can tell you that it is far easier to write a very very negative review than a good one, and we never pulled punches - and I actually get bothered by other reviewers that I read who seem to enjoy being negative too much, too.
I am a frequent reader of gaming magazines - I normally pick them up at the airport pre-flight and am subscribed (not that I remember subscribing) to a few of them. But I have _never_ seen or heard of Game Informer.
I really miss the one or two extremely funny gaming mags from back in the day - I can't recall their names, but there were two of them. PC Accelerator or something maybe and Insight or something like that? Really hope someone could remind me of their names.
Anyway, I'm really surprised no gaming mag is in the top 25 - about as surprised as I am htat I had never heard of the top gaming mag.
GS has comments but not scoring. And I check reviews both there and on Amazon because I'm not just itnerested in the opionions but also in the details that sometimes the marketing information is missing.
Look, so your GS guys are like the EB guys in the stores that I've been too. What else am I suppose to base it on. I guess any chain can have a bad egg. I've just been to the stores in several states and always liked them. I also placed many online orders and always got my product on release day, including my Xbox. Perhaps my GS experience is lacking, but why do they have twice the PE ratio? Could they be so much worse than GS and that still be true?
Because the staff at the ones I've visited were the opposite of what you describe - friendly, knowledgeable, and cute chicks. Also because the website for EBgames is better and allows for user comments/ratings.
Raven's record gives me high hopes. A pure play is looking at what they did with the Q3 engine and Elite Force and Jedi Knight. That, along with JK2 and Xmen Legends and SoF 2 lead me to believe this will be the best Q game yet.
EB has a higher market capitalization (1.354bil to 1.185bil), double the earnings per share, and from a consumer's point of view, a much better retail operation.
So I wonder why it was Gamestop that took the initiative to issue a bunch of debt to buy EB?
Given the co-operation of the EB people in the vote, it seems more like a merger than an acquasition.
I really hope that EB doesn't get it's great service dilluted by GS's management.
It could also raise the cost of making things cross-platform. So if you have a decent game but not the money to do the biggest seller for you(PS3??) AND another system.
In the documentation. You can read up on each of the civilizations featured in the game on one of the pre-game screens. There's about a page or two on each of the civilizations that is very accurate and portrays them each in a favorable light.
The accuracy of the gameplay itself is primafacia non-accurate as buildings do not manufacture soldiers IRL.
Two people were helpful. You, on the otherhand, were a jerk about it. It was like that computer guy skit on Saturday Night Live. You know what I'm talking about.
and uhm, yes uhm, obviously uhm I uhm meant circumference and uhm wouldn't have asked the uhm questions in the first place uhm if the parent uhm hand't uhm... FORGOT to mention radians when he said "2 pi = 360" as 2 pi equals more like 9.9.
And, uhm, thanks for being all like... sarcastic and demonstrating why nerds are.. uhm, always at the bottom of any social ladder. Hope your elite math skills keep you company on prom night.
Now what other popular tech device uses that color scheme?
Black and silver is a more hard-core design for a game console, especially the Xbox which is probably more geared towards the 25+ demo than any other console.
Compare HAlo on PC to HAlo on Xbox, in terms of what you need to run it decently.
Off shoring... in SPACE!!!!

If you already payed for them and screwed up/formatted your xbox, you would be able to re-DL them for free.
It sure helps as they have the shared identity of 'whores.'

It will feature fully real-world physics of John Madden's humongous beer gut jiggling!
It is informative because it is available where I live - WashDC burbs.

Verizon's Fios puts their DSL to shame where available - naked or not. $50 a month for 15Mbps down and 2 up. Hot hot hot.
At least in my mindshare, it was Thief that started it.

Something else to consider - as a bird flys is much more efficient than a road. Further, there is no lingering in traffic.
Maybe you should stop using an inferior product, as demonstrated by it's ability to render a simple website?
Still, I think MS will win the next round.
The damn site works fine in FF.
What next? Whining that Halo isn't Linux friendly?
BTW - here's a good way for you to loose your virginity.
The accuracy of the gameplay itself is primafacia non-accurate as buildings do not manufacture soldiers IRL.
btw - the 2 pi thing was bait.

I'm not saying you are wrong, only that I don't understand.

Could be worse - at least it doesn't look like a kid's lunch box.
Edit your sig. The word is 'too,' not 'to.'
