Apple will never be ahead of the PC platform in terms of speed, this is just a plain reality of there platform. 64bit CPU's are useless right now and it will take a while for software developers to recompile there software for 64bit.
Someone posted that you cannot make 2003 server look like XP. Actaully yes you can, the themes service is disabled by default. You can enableit and select the XP theme.
Ya, Since the Audugy came out they have full WDM drivers and are way better than the SB Live drivers. The Audigy 2 drivers are the best so far and haven't caused any issues for me yet.
