To me it seems pretty simple.
Virus software knows what virus it caught.
Therefore it should know whether the virus forges the "from" or not.
So bounce and warn the sender if it's a non-forging virus.
Do NOT bounce if it's a forging virus.
I bought a new Toshiba notebook (Satellite A15-S127) recently, and I found C-dilla DRM software by the Macrovision people running in the preinstall of WinXP. I must say I was rather offended:(. But I had no problem uninstalling it, along with all the other "trial version" and "sign up for internet" crap on there. I bet it's still running on as many clueless users machines as Gator:(
By the way, no, I would not have rather installed Linux, even if it did clean out C-dilla faster:P
I think this cleanup worm is a dandy idea.
Yes, it's still a worm and could cause traffic or computer problems, but it's nice to see one with good intentions.
Had I designed it I probably would have made it disable itself sooner, maybe after a few days instead of 2004, and tell the computer user exactly what it was doing.
I have an ATI All In Wonder Radeon 7500 AGP 64meg. If you're not familiar with this product, it's a video and tv card in one. Has cable, svideo, and rca inputs. Use their tv/digital vcr software. Set recording to "video cd" to get mpegs that you can just drop on a video cd with Nero cd burning software. For video tapes with Macrovision, there exists a patch that allows their digital vcr to record anyway. If you already have a different hardware getup together, try looking through vcdhelp.com for tools and whatnot.
Nah, they just run infomercials.

Hehe, he didn't even read the whole page before complaining...

YES! Connect a foot charger to my rocking chair, I'd never run out of juice :)
