Yes, I like the Trackman Wheel. I have been using one of those at home for quite a while, and I like it. Wanted a trackball for trackball Mame games actually. Just bought one for work too bacause I got tired of switching back and forth. Half.com had the best price. Doesn't take that long to get used to, but it really annoys anyone who wants to borrow my computer for a FPS...
If you're serious, and not just for April Fools, this is for the name of a real human being for their entire lifespan. Don't give them an odd name just because you think it's cool at the moment. Oh, and make it a normal spelling of the name so they won't be correcting everyone and spelling it out a million times over their lifetime.
Seems to me, the only people who will get really screwed by the changeover are those who can least afford it. I expect cable and satellite customers will still be able to watch on a regular tv. But any poor schmuck who can only afford a set of rabbit ears will have to buy an expensive high def receiver/converter just to watch anything.
There's CompUSA, BestBuy, Circuit City, um, maybe Staples. Just check their websites that week, see what's on sale and what's in a particular store. Problem is the good deals at those places are by rebate. Like a while back I spent $950 on a notebook and got $200 back in a couple different rebates. So for a killer deal he'd need a friend/relative to receive the rebates 3 months later. And may have to buy a different plug for Europe too.
I know exactly what you mean. Why the hell can't people understand that without the black bars on the top and bottom, you're hacking off the sides of the movie?
What I'd like to have myself is a widescreen tv. Not LCD/PLASMA/HDTV expensive as hell, just maybe a little bigger than my 27", and 16x9 shaped. I'd think if someone made a $500 widescreen like that it would sell like hotcakes. But they'd rather sell you a HDTV widescreen for 3x as much.
Obviously your computer is too far from your TV. I have 'puter with an All-In-Wonder, TV, cablebox, 5.1 stereo, PS2, DVD, NES, VCR all on the same living room wall all wired up!:) Who needs a stinkin' transmitter!
1. Find everyone in the process of reponding to spam.
2. Beat some sense into them.
3. Take the money they would have spent on diplomas and erbal viagra to pay for the ice cream party.
Well, I kinda like getting extra bits on cd. As long as they don't force you to install some special 2nd rate player. Like standard.avi videos is good. It's a reason to go ahead and buy a cd early.
Now what would be really nifty: if my car cd player played dvd audio too, I would love to buy a music dvd, and have 5.1 surround in the car and the living room. And while they're at it, slap plenty of extra band interviews etc on, cause no more 80 minute limit. My theory is put a dvd audio reader everywhere there's a cd, and dvd audio disks will take off cause they'll suddenly be portable.
Yeah, it was horrible. In college my dumbass roommates got the anti-cmos A virus on my 486, didn't even bother to tell me Win3.1 was acting weird. Lost everything on my 40 meg hard drive. Ever since, I update virus definitions religiously.
Well, I'm 4'10", so I think the article writer should send me $394.50 to even things out:)

I don't mind commercials. I tune them out, change channels, do something else, whatever. What I do mind is when they damage the shows themselves with commercials for something else on the channel. For years, they have been shrinking down credits to say
"Coming up next!", often cutting out the last joke of a sitcom. Now they have animations and cartoon ads running around on the bottom of the screen, distracting you from the show. The very worst here is Fox 5 Atlanta, who will take say, That 70's show, shrink the picture to 2/3 size and move it top right, and put a huge blue frame on the left and bottom to advertise what's coming on next. Stations want to flag a show with a translucent network id in the corner, fine. But I really wish they would quit damaging their own content to advertise.
Dvdidle can do that - clear the macrovision off your computer video output. And there exists a patch for ATI All In Wonder to allow it to record input with macrovision. Try some searches...
I use video webcam from www.myowncam.nl. Why would I want to use a snapshot one with a two week limit when I can do live video for free?

That's what wireless notebook access is for :)
I got better!
They want money. Is there any site out there where I can get one lousy ringtone for free? Sony Ericsson T226, Cingular.
How bout if the virus changes your homepage to hotgaymen.com? Then it's probably gay. :)

Well then didn't we learn recently it should be cheaper from amazon.co.uk?

I don't know.... I don't usually buy from sellers with zero feedback....

Oh that's easy. Put a heart monitor in it's collar with the tracking device.
Of course not. Watching Simpsons is NEVER a waste of time. :) Gotta catch those Halloween episodes again this week...
Nah, just a greedy little munchkin :)
