I do like the widgets in the screensaver, they aren't interactive (you cannot click on them). But it's nice to check if you have mail (just says kmail has new messages and kopete has new messages) without having to type your password.
Easy, the 5 traveled to the colonial planets, where they helped invent the toasters somehow. Then they lost (wiped?) their memory and boarded the one ship that wasn't networked.
There where some experiments with nuclear powered aircraft. The biggest problem was some shielding, and they never really flown on reactors. But if we don't have oil any more, who knows?
A kid won't ever be able to control the clutch. A child is to small to slowly raise the clutch (or he needs to crawl down to do that and even then he needs a lot of force)
Average of 40km/h is fast. If you have a useful bike for the city (including light, locks (one for the wheel and a chain), luggage carrier and upright riding position) 25km/h is considered very fast. Include traffic lights and your average speed is quite low (but still faster then any car in the city).
If you have a sports bike you can go faster, but an average of 20km/h is far more likely.
As for storing, Mostly I throw my bike everywhere I can (it's mostly in half broken state, it now has working brakes and lights)
I've set my script up to use UTF all the way and that seems to work.
Why not use prepared queries? That way, you don't put your data into a string that makes up the query.
That's why there is DVB-H
Isn't it the BSD ftp client?

Normally I watch series in one go, just take a day off school and start watching in the morning. Same with books.

Go to BIOS -> Fast boot -> on (or whatever it is called)
It skips the RAM check.
Also disable any secondary disk controllers that you don't use (and boot from LAN)
A heat pump in ground water is just as efficient whatever the outside temperature, because the ground temperature stays constant.
DD-WRT can mount samba volumes, I think you can run a remote FTP server on the mounted samba volumes. Now that you mention
You mean this would be wrong

Your router can also run it's own DNS (as most do) and you can just type in it's name. I have to type http://speedtouch.lan/
Better tell people to enable POP3, as some clients only download the headers of IMAP messages (and remove them if they are removed from the server)
Why not disable tapping?
MX518 is a great mouse and also the one I can use the longest without my arm hurting.
