When Mac's get to the price point of a PC, and, the applications that I use for
work are ported over to the Mac OS, I might consider it, but, since I've been with
MS since DOS 3.x, it would be hard to switch.

I've had various digital cameras since 2000. I got a DSLR May 2010, and have taken over 5000 shots with it, and I can
probably count on two hands how many I have actually printed.
They tried this "one size fits all" approach back in the 60's with the f-4 phantom.
Air Force, Marines, Navy all tried the Phantom. It just wasn't "good enough" for each branch.
The navy has special needs that the air force & marines don't have, and need a purpose built

I lived within 10 miles of a nuke plant growing up, and it never had any issues.

Control the OS update at the vendor level, NOT the carrier level.
It just isn't in the "best" interest of the carriers to put the latest & greatest OS on the phones. Makes it

stuff, but this shiny new phone does. I wish google would take the apple approach to the OS updates
and control it from THEIR end, not allowing the carriers to bloat it & cripple it, THEN, if you are lucky,
release it.
