I do not work for Zimbra nor do I know anybody who does but I've been using the open source addition of the Zimbra server on my home email server for months now and I love it. While I've not used the offline email client for Zimbra, it was created specifically for people who want the web client functionality with the ability to work while disconnected. Here is a link. http://www.zimbra.com/products/desktop.html
My initial install had only 256 MB of RAM and it worked just fine. I have since upgraded to 512 MB of RAM and while it is much snappier I could have survived with less.

I've installed the Open Source version and am using it for my family email. It works great. The web interface is really impressive but I also have some family members connecting Thunderbird to it and it works without a hitch.
Set up was a breeze. I used a HowToForge guide and it worked great. As for maintaining, the forums have been extremely useful. Overall I'm very pleased.

The last I heard DivX was bundling their products with Gator/Claria crap in it. It that still the case?

If you are referring to KnoppMyth then it also installs the backend. You can use the cd to just install the frontend but it will install the both pieces on one computer. That is the way I have done it.
KnoppMyth definitely makes MythTV more accessible. The entire install and configuration takes about 20 minutes provided that you are using linux compatible hardware. Pretty much if you are using a Hauppauge card then you are set.
I haven't had Lasik but I work for a Park Avenue eye doc who does a lot of Lasik in his practice. If you are going to do it, you really need to do your homework. Learn about the different kinds of lasers and the different kinds of laser correction. Your consult anywhere you go should be free. You should also have a full year of checkups and/or enhancements at no extra cost. Basically, you get what you pay for. The doc I work for has treated over 20,000 eyes and has only had one dissatisfied patient. He also charges $5000. You will hear a lot about "custom" Lasik with Wavefront technology. It's worth it. You will see better. If I were going to get Lasik, I would only do it with Wavefront.
OKay, that said, our patients are beaming when they leave. We get letters and emails from patients constantly saying "words cannot express" how happy they are. (I've seen those exact words many, many times.) They say it is a life changing experience. And most of our patients are word-of-mouth referrals from other patients. I'm telling you this simply to say that people other than the Lasik doctors are saying it's great.
On the other hand, my doc has offered it to me for almost free and I haven't taken him up on it. I haven't seen anything bad happen to anyone, I'm just really phobic about stuff near my eyes...
Bottom line: don't go to a discount center, it isn't worth it. Good luck making your decision!
Try removing the entire directory as well as the directories for any other previous versions of firefox or Mozilla. Then reinstall.9.1 and the extension again.
I was dealing with this problem yesterday. My coworker had three versions of mozilla/firefox installed in different directories and so even though the extension was installed "perfectly" it wasn't showing up. After he removed the extra junk and installed again. Things worked great.
I agree. Sooner or later you will have to cut down on the amount of gaming that you do. But if you and your SO are willing to sacrifice for each other things will work out. My wife actually plays computer games with me. And sometimes I go to the Opera with her.
Eventually she learned to enjoy the games. In fact she really liked Dungeon Siege and recently she has started asking to play Age of Empires again. I still haven't learned to like opera but I love her and so I can handle it. In the end I promise you that sacrificing game time to be with your SO or family is far more rewarding than any game could ever be.
While it is very true that building a linux based PVR system can be difficult it is well worth it. I am constantly impressed with my MythTV system. The base functionality along with the various modules make it, in my opinion, the best homebrew PVR available.
Every new release comes with more useful features. From using it as an mp3 player to having it tell you who is calling on your Caller ID, it is pretty amazing. But don't get me wrong. It took me about 3 weeks to get it to work. I started using Redhat as the base system but ended up with KnoppMyth. KnoppMyth makes installation a snap.
With 802.11x becoming so standard in everything from laptops to handhelds why would anyone want to use Bluetooth anymore? Bluetooth is slower and doesn't have any real benefit over 802.11x.
