why? because of all the different distributions. Too many things to cover. Maybe condense all into one you say? Too many people would get pissed off and it would just form another distribution... One won't topple all else, we have already seen that (even w/the large support RH gets).

<i>I want support for USB devices like mice out of box. I know this is going to be difficult, but these are areas Windows is flogging Linux in. even though there is all this support coming in to Linux, who is saying that Linux is the superior gaming platform (minus any radicals out there ;))? No one. They are saying it is gaining ground, but as of yet there hasn't been a major migration or anything, so there really isn't any need for this kind of "rapid windowsization" (Linus is not Stalin afterall ;))

"You didn't provide a link so I can't tell if your

I just tried USA Today's website (to no avail) to find the story (if they even have old articles), but it was in the paper on Wednesday of last week I beleive (right on the front page).

I don't believe that a 20 year study would allow for a test of LTM loss. Especially if you are using it RECREATIONALLY. I am not talking about the people that use it almost all the time (serotonin disorder), I am talking about 2x a month (and maybe 2 pills in a night).

As far as having sleep disorders (as in another reply) and relating these to a "bad roll"... Your experience was not rare, but the sleep disorders were. I have had bad rolls on several occasions, but never had any "cracked out" behavior lasting more than 48 hours. The effects of E on the mind *can* last up to 7 days but usually not more than that. This person's case was an exception. E is related to speed, etc, of course it is going to distrupt your sleep patterns, but it won't affect long term.

As far as the USA Today article talking about this new research, they weren't pointing to CURRENT LTM loss and CURRENT sleep disorders, they were HYPHOTHESING that this will happen to regular users in the FUTURE. It is all bunk.
