You people are giving me a headache. There is no mention about the removal of error checking. Actually, the article is lite on any technical details, but you can divine what they are doing well enough. Basically, it seems they keep tweaking mtu rwin, ect until they get the best connection they can.

This isn't revolutionary so much as evolutionary.

Even if you change your alias and try to change your style of writing and fake being someone else a good many people that know you will still recognize you. People seem to be very good at recognizing such patterns.

I have to disagree with you here. People are idiots, and given 5 minutes your average person will be more than willing to demonstrate this to you, often repeatedly.

From example, I know of one woman who was staulked by a single guy for months online, yet she thought it was a different one, each time he got a new screen name. And were this an isolated incident, I wouldn't even mention it, but it's not. I know of several women who do the same damn thing, and then they whine and bitch about not finding a good guy ( meanwhile, I'm edging towards the door, because they're giving me that "hungry" look ).

No, people are retarded monkeys, and the risk between online and real world are about the same if you are a moron, albeit different.

Give people a choice between door #1 and door #2, and they will not only pick door #3, but they will do it just to spite you ( or to be "different". Your choice which is worse ).

No, where you will find the classics is where they've always really been: Where people make cartoons for adults.

Powerpuff girls, Jonny Bravo, and especially Shrek come to mind ( of the american populars ). These were cartoons that were not made for children, tho they are typically harmless enough to be viewed by kids. They were made for a more mature audience ( well, sorta anyways ), and thus have that timeless quality that the old Looney Tunes has.

Of course it's an alternative, much like OS/2 is an alternative. Just because people don't use it, doesn't make it somehow "less" an alternative.
