What about the poor corporate user who has his browser set to java script off by his companies security policy - does this mean he is in violation - does it mean his entire company is violation. Did I not read somewhere on slashdot that being able to break copy protection is now a crime.
lets take it to the ninth degree, you isp connection links you to copyright'ed material, lets get ride of all isp connections. Sure they would love that, would it stop the copying...... nope, usb drive, dvd +/- R/RW....
Give us some good material in the form that we want it, and not over priced!
Okay, so form a company (buy an off the shelf company), buy some spyware and give/sell to your local politician (federal/state), see how they feel about the loss of their privacy
Politicians are supposed to represent the people who elected them, not the companies that spend the most money on them.

Why not fire the people who have made the silly decisions in the first place, the same people who get paid lots of money for sitting on there arse's dream about the next 5 years.

Didn't Australia and the US just recently sign a free trade agreement, that was meant to open up the economic boundaries between the countries. Shouldn't have this also opened up the internet boundaries as well.

So what if I create this key SOFTWARE\Wine\Wine\Config in a working windows system, does this mean that they are not going to support my Windows machine !
Strange I have read all these comments and no one seems rather put out at the fact you have a Dr who is a drug addict (Dr. Merrimon Baker), who seems to be making lots of mistakes all over the place, like amputating the wrong leg.....
He is still practising, what sort of warped society allows thats.
Does it really matter which distro you are going to us. Once you have made a choice on what needs to be installed ie services and what they have to provide, your only really problem is security patches.
Your needs for this server might grow, but do you always need bleeding edge software, problably not for an enterpise server.
I have placed into business Redhat, Debian and Solaris.
They all did the job they we installed for and all of the had very high reliablility.
Usually the only time they were down was for tinkering.
Find the right choice for the job right now, look at weather the distro is going to be around for a while.
I am sure stable could be made fairly equal on all the distro, if you stay away from the continual upgrading and patch (except for security).

having tried both I have found both to work, although the poly serve was about 10x the cost of the gfs solution PLus with gfs you can use iscsi
I believe you will find that ipsec does work in 2.6.8+ and openswan (not sure which version). Its more the easy configuration that was the problem.

Why not just take a black pen marker with you when you go shopping, mark out the RFID!
