They don't mention Profile anywhere, which is even more horrible than Quickbooks. Last time I had to support it I remember downloading dozens of VB runtime files...
As a computing science major, I have seen a number of people with absurdly high GPAs and work experience at major corporations (RIM, Business Objects, etc) that couldn't code a simple app if their life depended on it. So I would have to agree with the article...I hope more is done to catch such people who jeopardize honest peoples degrees.
I can already do this, thanks to my local "Linksys" community;)
I guess for some people there will be benefits, but with cheap access to computers/free wifi everywhere, I don't see why anybody would pay for this. Not to mention the headache it will cause with information being transmitted in a non-encrypted form (leading to all sorts of problems)
If you took a moment to do a Google search of the player in question, the Sandisk Sansa e200, you will see that it does in fact have a scroll wheel.
Nice rant though...
> No we don't have an An-124, it's the largest plane currently flying...
Actually, the An-225 is the worlds largest flying plane; it was built to carry Buran (the Russian space shuttle). I fail to see how its only flying due to "national pride," as the Antonov design bureau had one fully restored due to global demand for large cargo transportation.
Some larger stores in Canada (London Drugs) actually put the levy amount on the bill. So, when you buy $15 50pcs CD-R's, the tax will be listed as a item on your receipt.
Just wait a few years and let nature do it for you....

I pay $34 for a fixed line 6-8Mbps connection and 50gb bidirectional, why would I want to save $5 and get a crappy connection instead?
MSC an obscure format? It happens to be a standard that is used in nearly all USB based drives...

It's more like buying the exact same car except one is white and has fancy icons in the navigation system.
Actually the EGSM 900 standard is design to go up to 2W for a "Class 4" device.

The irony is most of the advanced math prof's at SFU are of Eastern European/Russian background.

I havent seen a movie in a theater since 1993 and have not bought a CD since 1995, beat that.
I have a home e-mail server, and I can use SMTP to send an e-mail to my hotmail account without any problems.
