There's an addon on the micro$oft website, which you can install to have IPv6, but IIRC it was still labeled BETA the last time I did ceck it out ! (it was about 4 months ago !)

Ok. raw FVWM speed is great, but who want's that ?

If you ever use some X11 apps that are a bit more graphics intensive you would know that those apps are quite slow in X.
I.e. Why can't I have 4 different hi-res backgrounds .. vid-card has 32 megs of ram, enough to store them all .. but regardless of the software you use, when you switch desktops, its slow !

For the record just try the X11 version of mozilla and compare it to the same win32 version ... you will notice that the win32 one will run MUCH smoother !

if you want speed in java, use the IBM 1.3 JDK .. its REALLY fast ... java is gaining much ground in backend and server programming .. its nice, easy threads and is quite immune against buffer overflows ;)

    news_id42.html with
    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteRule .*_id(.*)\.html$ news.php?id=$1

    in your .htaccess.
Voila ! your dynamic content looks exactly like a static html page.

Anoter one is to fool searchengines that the script is an directory:

    foobar.php/param1/param2/

Works perfectly fine ... ;) but this technique doesn't seem to work with all searchengines.
