    I preferred some of his earlier works. I especially liked "Some More of God's Greatest Mistakes". A very good read indeed.

    I guess that the increased salary he gets by working 35 miles away is more than equivalent to being paid for the commute at *local* salary prices. Although yeah, that is time you will never get back if you drive.

    That's how it works where I am.

    I do a ~100KM round trip commute but I take the train and that's 'me time' so not really wasted.

    I'm just curious, what is your opinion on AIX compared to Solaris?

    In my experience, AIX makes Solaris look like user-friendly land.

    The one three years used a donor trachea - they washed away the donor cells leaving just the scaffold.

    With this one, the scaffold was created artificially from a 3D model of the patients original one.

    Similar, but quite a big difference, though the difference is only in the scaffold.

    Quite often in the UK, busier roundabouts can be assisted by traffic lights at certain times of the day. This way, it's free flowing when the roads are clear, but when there is simply too much traffic, the lights help out.

    I disagree. They are the best thing ever when people know how to use them. I have seen some up here in Canada and get all excited when I see them :)

    If you want a candidate for worst traffic control structure ever invented, it's the 2 or 4 way stop signs. Utterly horrible. They should all be replaced with mini-roundabouts.

    I say YAY to them down there for embracing this and I truly hope they follow suite up here and go roundabout-crazy :)
