    Not only that but CPU sockets usually only work for one CPU family and aren't interchangeable. You can't but AMD's chip into Intels motherboards.

    So at best you can normally replace to an equaviant CPU maybe a couple of clock cycles faster but that's it.

    If your upgrading you have to replace both

    My mother has that setup for her reality job.

    Car insurance people who travel alot have that setup.

    Minus the printer maybe but my mother users her laptop with a gps device for navigating.

    of course both of those people use professional metal install kits.

    something like75% of people have one or two ISP available to them.

    usually DSL and Cable. I wish i could get fiber in my new home but I can't and won't be able to for another 15 years minimum.

    if but this isn't about you paying to watch a game it is about radio and tv stations paying to watch a game so you can hear/see the play by play.

    you can't always watch every game, sometimes you have to follow it other ways. twitter doesn't pay royalties for play by play announcing and so the university it trying to cut it out.

    If you think this is bad wait a couple of more years for smart tv's to start needing these kinds of updates.

    People expect their tv's to last 10+ years without a simple software update some of those tv's won't be working right.

    exactly while in consumer preview mode I installed windows 8 specifically to play a couple of really really old games(think windows 98 era) which it did flawlessly.

    you can really walk around talking like a crazy person and be completely correct.

    when your phone rings only you will be able to hear it.bbnow if they could come up with a subvocalized microphone to go with it then you could have a full conversation while looking like your paying attention in a boring meeting.

    actually what your describing is part of the supply chain problem.

    The supply chain right now is so tight time wise that any temporary disruption is felt the entire way down the chain. The problem is that items sitting on shelves isn't efficient. However there is little disaster planning. take a look at what happened to hard drives a couple of years ago.

    Or look at japan's car production lines shutting down for three months after the fuskisma earth quake. The factories were open but they couldn't get parts to build.

    We are heading toward just in time manufacturing. Where you it won't be built until you order it.

    considering the number of windows zombies out there as a percentage of overall machines compared to OSX zombies out there to their number of machines

    your quite right.

    iphone has more visibility, more overall users and has been out longer than android, yet less viruses.

    Sometimes just preventing people from sticking their head in the flames to see if their hair burns is a good idea.

    some veggie's are funny grown indoors. tomato's for instance do like a bit of variation in their sun, temperature ranges to get really good ones.

    however my brother in law by accident is growing some awesome spicy pepper plants in his dining room.

    mixed with basil sage and thyme it works well.

    No it is one of the major weaknesses of democrats. they won't stand up and start shouting liar.

    The democrats have enough economic strengths that if they started laying out the truth and forcing the republicans to admit their own hypocrisy it could truly be scary. However the democrats won't stoop that low as then the republican's can fight their dirty laundry.

    Sort of like MADD with weapons of political destruction.

    the trick is only one republican has ever lead this country out of a recession.
    However only a couple of democrats have lead this country into recessions.

    instead of just pulling cat6 through the walls go ahead and install 1/2" or 3/4" conduit to each location where you might want Network or Cable TV. Star everything to a central location.

    That's where your network equipment goes. all of it.

    In the future you will be able to easily replace all the cables to the then current standard.(remember cat5 while still being installed only lasted 15 years before it started to be replaced by other things)

    this way you can replace all wires and equipment as you upgrade relatively painlessly.

    Why Honda's are made in the USA. it is fords, GM's and such that are made in mexico and shipped here.

    Honda, Toyota, Nissan all manufacture more cars in the USA than Ford or GM do.

    The question is do you want a tablet or do you want a laptop? It makes a difference. There is places for them both. Windows RT is a laptop os with a laptop keyboard using a tablet interface.

    Android and iOS are tablet OS's being used for Tablets.

    The days of one device doing everything well are long gone. With prices fallen and devices lasting longer as they have even the poor can have multiple devices.

    Also read the reviews the keyboard dock connector, and power connector on Surface are poorly designed and take a couple of tries to fit right. Every review I have read said it wasn't a bad device but it is an alpha first generation product and those you always stay away from.

    especially since their are very easy ways to bypass sniffer tests.

    It involves a little bit of work but an extra step or two isn't hard. It just means that the person who packs the bomb. has to be different from the the person who packs the bag, and who delivers the bomb.

    since that is usually the case anyways,all you need is to add a cleaning and sterlization routine to the bomb packaging. and make sure none of the three people actually get close to one another.

    get us out of forgien wars. nope because the right wing wants to stick their noses in everyone else's business. (look at the right wing trying to undo liberties)

    Close down gizmo, nope because no one wants to take responsibility for the prisoners .

    Of course he is more than willing to pander to the democrats corporations(hollywood, DMCA, etc)

    Pick which set of civil liberties you want taken. the R's are going after one group, the D's another.
