Tell it to the judge. From someone that refused to pay (because they charged a different price than their menu) and had the cops called and the cops said pay (whatever price they say) or be arrested so I paid and sued the restaurant, I did tell it to the judge. All I got was my money back, nothing for the BS of having the cops show up because "oops our menu price is wrong you should pay us more" or the BS of having to file a small claims lawsuit just to get justice. Restaurants can do whatever they want and you just have to take it unless you really want to pay thousands to an attorney to make an example of them.

The numbers are probably skewed since android can be put on any device by anybody while iOS is only available on iPhone so naturally everyone in china is using android. Even though a iPhone 5s costs more than the average monthly wage in China they're still selling out in hours. Can't ask for better sales than that, the fact anyone spends a month's salary is amazing, that would be like what, $3,000 in the US?

I would not call Apple products overpriced anymore than I would call Porsche overpriced. Sure you can buy a ford mustang that can do almost everything a Porsche can do but there is more to a vehicle than 0-60 times. Apple has been doing fine selling items at a premium for awhile, there are cheaper MP3 players and cheaper thin laptops but there is more to a product than the price tag.

Why quote unlocked prices? Do carriers give you a substantial discount on service for having a unlocked phone? Are you going to buy the phone and not use it as a phone? Last I checked they charge everyone the same monthly service fees whether the phone was locked or not so you might as well take the $200 subsidized phone over the $350 unlocked unsubsidized phone.

Well, if you put it that way there is zero reason to ever buy a console during initial release. All have problems and all have few titles. You could just do what I do and wait until the next gen is out and buy up the old consoles then. Yes, I bought my first 360 in July 3013, 200gb special edition with 40 games for $250, and yes, I bought my first original xbox in 2006 with similar extras. No, I don't care if "all my friends" are playing the new system, because no one comes to my house to play console games and I don't play console games online with my friends.

I agree. $60 a year is reasonable, but $120? $240? What prevents them from raising the price? And once they do what can we do? At least with phones you are under contract, but consoles have no obligation. Tomorrow Microsoft could announce Live is $30 a month instead of the current $5 and what could we do besides throw away our consoles?
