The MTV special was a complete waste of time.
It didn't show off anything other then the exterior of the console. And the fact that you can change the face plate... just like your favoirite cell phone.
Thank GOD I have TiVo and could skip the 20 min. of commercials.
At points it seemed like the commentators were disappointed w/ what they were seeing. I'm sure they wanted to play some games... and were trying to be positive about the customizeable face plate thingy.
The only thing I know about the xBox 2 is that it's called the xBox 360... whatever... maybe they should have called it xBox.NET;)
Just because someone gets a limitless quantity of a product for free, doesn't imply that they would have ever bought the product had that supply been cut off.
So... you're not costing them any money.
My philosophy is... the money has to come from some where.
They're not loosing anything from you... because they never had anything from you in the first place.
I fled Ohio (Cleveland area), about two years ago. I'm shocked that something of that magnitude is happening under the belly of the grey elephant. Although Dayton is far enough south to avoid Lake effect snow / sleet / rain / elephants.
Perhaps, they're secretly trying to make us commies? *LOL* But seriously... I like haveing a job. I feel that these programs are makeing it more difficult for others to get jobs.
Maybe it's a bit of a stretch...
But where does the money come from?
We all need to consume a certain amount of natural resources... If some folks aren't paying for theirs... where does the money come from... The government? Where does their money come from?
The economy is a big circle of life... dammage one link and you could bring the whole thing down.
The whole internet was completely government funded at one point...
The FBI can break down my door in about 3 seconds.
But they don't.
Because it isn't right.
You may want to believe that everyone is out to get you.
But all in all the government is of / by / for the people.
I currently own an xBox ...
I'm going to wait until the release of the PS3 to see if it simply crushes the new xBox technology.
Cheers,

Give me a break ...
... ...
The document wouldn't become GPL'ed.
Only further modification to the font would be GPL'ed!!
If the reverse were true
No organization anywhere would use any GPL software
For fear that their business would becom GPL'ed.
Who posted this trash anyway?
It's not April 1st,

Things get better
Doubbly so.
That's fine and good.
But how about another law that incicates how long it will take for that technology to hit the shelves
Nope,

I'm not pro-cinicly-sociopathic.
Big Business.
Big Government.
They're not the problem.
People do things
Example:
People buy guns
People kill people
People group together.
You can't outlaw this type of behavior.
If one person can say "lets be cinical"
If another person can say "lets be sociopathic"
Then there just has to be another person that says "lets do the right thing"
And another to say "lets give back to those that give to us"
Yeah.
Cheers.
Wow,

I too would like to understand this !?
... and it's wrapped up in cheap wifi access ?!
Doesn't make much sense to me.
Unless it's the camera mounted big brother system that they're really voteing on
Is that Dayton Ohio?
Free health care ... ... ;)
I would have said dogs doing it w/ cats
But I cought my Beagle in action the other week
that smacks of South Park ;)
I hope that the WiFi service ... ... is better then the public restrooms that I find in parks ;)
That works well until you get to someone in a 57' Chevy ;)
Maybe it means you get taxed 16$ a month if you use the service or not ;)
Maybe the BBC can branch out?
... something is lost in the translation.)
Maybe they can put all the WiFi transmitters in tardis's littering the streets.
(It was an attempt in humor
It does seem to be a bit counter capitalistic?

Included right in the utilities bill?
Nice.
It seemed like an eternity before my cellular company managed to send me one bill

I can also as this:
...
How many software projects are a success?
Answer 1 in 10.
I could draw this conclusion.
Don't get into software.
But when I compare the two statements
I tend to believe that many projects just fail in general.
It doesn't matter what category they're in.
The whole internet was completely government funded at one point ...

But corporations are made of people?
...
They may be the oldest known illuminati
but they are people.
Why should I be outraged?
Because you say so?
You're only one person.
A corporation is made up of many, many people.
People like you and me.

Effectivly nulling the new law ...
...
Develop new technology.
It will basicly do the same thing.
Just a little bit differently.
Law can not keep up with new industry buzz words.
If it could
We'd just have laws like.
Don't lie, cheat, steal, kill, rape.
And we'd be done.

Need I say more?
I would never watch it ...
But I would have when I was in grade school!
