    If you ask me ...

    The MTV special was a complete waste of time.
    It didn't show off anything other then the exterior of the console. And the fact that you can change the face plate ... just like your favoirite cell phone.
    Thank GOD I have TiVo and could skip the 20 min. of commercials.
    At points it seemed like the commentators were disappointed w/ what they were seeing. I'm sure they wanted to play some games ... and were trying to be positive about the customizeable face plate thingy.
    The only thing I know about the xBox 2 is that it's called the xBox 360 ... whatever ... maybe they should have called it xBox.NET ;)

    The document wouldn't become GPL'ed.
    Only further modification to the font would be GPL'ed!!

    If the reverse were true ...
    No organization anywhere would use any GPL software ...
    For fear that their business would becom GPL'ed.

    Just because someone gets a limitless quantity of a product for free, doesn't imply that they would have ever bought the product had that supply been cut off.

    So ... you're not costing them any money.

    My philosophy is ... the money has to come from some where.

    They're not loosing anything from you ... because they never had anything from you in the first place.

    Nope,

    I'm not pro-cinicly-sociopathic.

    Big Business.
    Big Government.
    They're not the problem.

    People do things ...

    Example:
    People buy guns ...
    People kill people ...

    People group together.
    You can't outlaw this type of behavior.

    If one person can say "lets be cinical" ...
    If another person can say "lets be sociopathic" ...

    Then there just has to be another person that says "lets do the right thing" ...
    And another to say "lets give back to those that give to us" ...

    Yeah.

    Wow,

    I fled Ohio (Cleveland area), about two years ago. I'm shocked that something of that magnitude is happening under the belly of the grey elephant. Although Dayton is far enough south to avoid Lake effect snow / sleet / rain / elephants.

    It does seem to be a bit counter capitalistic?

    Perhaps, they're secretly trying to make us commies? *LOL* But seriously ... I like haveing a job. I feel that these programs are makeing it more difficult for others to get jobs.

    Maybe it's a bit of a stretch ...

    But where does the money come from?
    We all need to consume a certain amount of natural resources ... If some folks aren't paying for theirs ... where does the money come from ... The government? Where does their money come from?

    The economy is a big circle of life ... dammage one link and you could bring the whole thing down.

    I could draw this conclusion.
    Don't get into software.

    But when I compare the two statements ...
    I tend to believe that many projects just fail in general.
    It doesn't matter what category they're in.
